[via press release from ABC]

"AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS" GRAND PRIZE WINNERS ARE ANNOUNCED

Winners Will Receive Trip to All 11 Disney Theme Parks Across the Globe

Beth Marks of Atlanta, Georgia was the lucky $100,000 prize winner to take home the Grand Prize in the season finale of "America's Funniest Home Videos." Beth, who works for a non-profit organization, was awarded the trip of a lifetime to all 11 Disney theme parks around the world, including Disney Paris, the Tokyo Disney Resort and the newest Disney theme park in Hong Kong.

In addition, Brian Hanne of Mesa, Arizona, was the online winner, taking home the exact same dream trip for voting online for the season finale.

The winners were announced during the Friday, May 13 edition of "America's Funniest Home Videos." Marks won for her home video, "Dog Eats Dog," which portrayed a confused family dog who persistently attacks his own leg.

The videos, submitted by viewers, offer big laughs and the chance for viewers to win big money. Every week throughout the season, $15,000 in prize money will be awarded: $10,000 for the clip the studio audience chooses as its favorite, $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for the third place winner. Special $100,000 grand prizes will be awarded during the season to video buffs whose wildly funny or unusual video clips are judged favorites by studio audiences.

In its 15 seasons to date, "America's Funniest Home Videos" has given away over $7 million in prize money and evaluated more than half a million videotapes from home viewers. Viewers wishing to submit home videos to America's Funniest Home Videos" should visit ABC's website at www.abc.com for details.
