ABC MAY 2005 SWEEPS (ABC) - The Alphabet has confirmed some additional finale dates during the May sweeps period (Thursday, April 28 through Wednesday, May 25). "Supernanny" will wrap its freshman run on Monday, May 2 at 10:00/9:00c while "The Bachelor" is set to close its seventh edition on Monday, May 16 (with a one-hour finale at 8:00/7:00c and a two-hour "After the Final Rose" special at 9:00/8:00c). On Tuesday, May 17 look for the expanded 40-minute finales of "My Wife and Kids," "The George Lopez Show" and "According to Jim." And finally, both "Desperate Housewives" and "Grey's Anatomy" have set their respective season finales for Sunday, May 22. Click here for the network's previously announced finale dates.
AMERICAN DREAMS (NBC) - Co-executive producer Becky Hartman Edwards has signed a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. The pact calls for the writer/producer to create, develop and executive produce series projects for the studio.
THE BEDFORD DIARIES (A.K.A. UNTITLED BARRY LEVINSON/TOM FONTANA PROJECT) (The WB) - Emmy-winning writer/producer Tom Fontana has inked a premium two-script deal with Sony Pictures Television. Under the terms of the pact, Fontana will write two drama pilot scripts for the studio's 2006-07 season development cycle, one procedural and one character-driven. It's also understood the deal won't affect Fontana's duties on his college-themed WB pilot, which is now said to be running under the title "The Bedford Diaries." Julie Martin co-wrote the pilot ot "Diaries" with Fontana, who also executive produces along with Barry Levinson and Jim Finnerty. That project is set up at Warner Bros. Television and HBO Independent Productions.
SOLD (A.K.A. WESTSIDE) (ABC) - The drama pilot, about an upscale real estate agency specializing in high-end homes on L.A.'s Westside, is now being developed under the title "Sold." Ashley Scott, Charlotte Ross, Judith Light, Stark Sands, Peter Facinelli, Camille Guaty and Peter Weller all star in the project, which comes from creator Silvio Horta, Warner Bros. Television and Steve Pearlman's Class IV Productions.
SUPERNANNY (ABC) - A marathon of six episodes of the hit ABC series is set to run on cable sibling ABC Family on Saturday, May 7 beginning at 2:00 p.m. eastern.
