Casting Is Complete on ABC Telefilm 'Ambition,' a Biopic of Donald Trump

CASTING IS COMPLETE ON ABC TELEFILM "AMBITION," A BIOPIC OF DONALD TRUMP

Justin Louis of "1-800-MISSING" and of countless other TV programs, telefilms and feature films will portray legendary developer Donald Trump in the forthcoming biopic, "Ambition" (working title), slated to air on the ABC Television Network. Louis' other TV appearances include the lead role on "Trinity," a recurring role on "24" and guest starring on "C.S.I.," "ER," "Gideon's Crossing" and many other shows. The role of Ivana Trump will be played by Katheryn Winnick. Her numerous film and TV credits include guest starring on "CSI: Miami," "Oz" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," and she recently portrayed herself on "The It Factor." Her film roles include the forthcoming "Cloud Nine" with Burt Reynolds and starring in "Julian & Chalice." Ron McLarty ("Into the Fire") plays Fred Trump Sr., and Jennifer Baxter ("America's Prince: The John F. Kennedy Jr. Story") is Marla Maples.

"Ambition" is based on Gwenda Blair's biography, Donald Trump: Master Apprentice. Executive producers of "Ambition" are Barbara Lieberman ("Gleason"), Dan Lux, Vin Di Bona, Jorg Westerkamp and Michael Hagemeyer. The director is John David Coles, and the teleplay is by Keith Curran. The made-for-TV-movie is produced by Barbara Lieberman Productions in association with D. Lux-Di Bona Productions and Apollo ProMovie.
