"We are thrilled to partner with AOL, one of the premier online content providers, to bring 'Desperate Housewives' fans weekly recaps and highlights of a show they can't get enough of."
Patricia Karpas, vice president and general manager, AOL(r) Television, commented: "This partnership with ABC surrounding the hottest new show of the season, 'Desperate Housewives,' further solidifies AOL's position as a leading provider of compelling and unique video for online consumers. "Desperate Housewives," which airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m., ET, is a primetime soap with a truly contemporary take on "happily-ever-after." The hour-long drama takes a darkly comedic look at suburbia, where the secret lives of housewives aren't always what they seem. The show stars Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman as Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross as Bree Van De Kamp, Eva Longoria as Gabrielle Solis, Nicollette Sheridan as Edie Britt, Steven Culp as Rex Van De Camp, Ricardo Antonio Chavira as Carlos Solis, Mark Moses as Paul Young, Andrea Bowen as Julie Mayer, Jesse Metcalfe as John, Cody Kasch as Zach Young, Brenda Strong as Mary Alice Young and James Denton as Mike Delfino.
Marc Cherry ("The Golden Girls") is executive producer and creator of the series, which recently won both Golden Globe and People's Choice Awards. Michael Edelstein ("Threat Matrix") and Tom Spezialy ("The District," "Ed") are executive producers. Kevin Murphy ("Reefer Madness") is co-executive producer of the series, from Touchstone Television.
