Celebreality on VH1!
All Reality is Not Created Equal and VH1 Proves Just That With Three New
Original Series Every Sunday Night
'The Surreal Life,' 'Strange Love' and 'Celebrity Fit Club' Premiere on
Sunday, January 9 Beginning at 9PM*
NEW YORK, Dec. 16 -- A surreal affair grows into a strange
love, six people learn to live and love under one roof and eight celebrities
bravely step forward to acknowledge that they've been losing the battle of the
bulge -- every Sunday night on VH1 beginning Sunday, January 9 at 9PM* on the
premieres of three new original series, "The Surreal Life," Strange Love" and
"Celebrity Fit Club."
9PM THE SURREAL LIFE
VH1 will keep the "Surreal" party going when the new cast hits the screen
for the fourth season premiere. This new group of pop culture originals --
former wrestler Chyna Doll; Jane Wiedlin (The Go-Gos); Christopher Knight
("The Brady Bunch"); Verne Troyer ("Austin Powers"); model Marcus
Schenkenberg; rap star Da Brat; and Adrianne Curry ("America's Next Top
Model") -- will find themselves starring in their own kung-fu movie, riding
horses at a dude ranch, and of course, hooking up and fighting it out. Only
on "The Surreal Life" will you find: Verne Troyer taking a naked midnight
scooter ride; Da Brat's brutal honesty; Adrianne Curry torn between two
lovers; Marcus Schenkenburg dressed as a cowboy and more hijinks almost too
risque for the small screen.
VH1's "The Surreal Life" is executive produced by Mark Cronin, Cris Abrego
and Ben Samek for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures, and co-executive
produced by James Rowley and Ben Samek, Jeff Olde and Jill Modabber oversee
the series for VH1.
10PM STRANGE LOVE
They're back!!! Fans of "The Surreal Life" on VH1 this season know that
Brigitte Nielsen and Flavor Flav made a splash together in and out of that
swimming pool in the back of that mansion. VH1 is reuniting the ghetto-flash
and Euro-trash pair to see if their love is true. Flavor visits Brigitte in
Milan to meet her elite royal friends and mother, brother and son. Brigitte
then travels to Flavor's hometown of the Bronx to meet his children and go to
church with his mother and sisters. The two then go to Vegas where viewers
will have to see if they get hitched or one of them gets ditched.
* all times ET/PT
"Strange Love" is a production of Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures.
Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego serve as executive producers. VH1 executives in
charge of production are Jeff Olde and Jill Modabber.
11PM CELEBRITY FIT CLUB
In this emotional and often hilarious reality series, eight celebrities
bravely step forward and acknowledge that they've been losing the battle of
the bulge. After being divided into two teams, Daniel Baldwin, Kim Coles, Joe
Gannascoli ("The Sopranos"), Biz Markie, Ralphie May, Judge Mablean Ephriam
("Divorce Court"), Mia Tyler and Wendy the Snapple Lady will endure our Fit
Camp to face challenges ranging from belly dancing and ballet to synchronized
swimming and limbo. Each week, the celebrities must then face the loneliest
walk on television as they step on the scales to see if they've helped their
team to win by losing weight.
"Celebrity Fit Club" is produced by Granada Entertainment. For VH1,
executive produced by Michael Hirschhorn, and produced by Jim Ackerman and
Matt Hanna.
