Break out the mistletoe, dust off the silver bells and throw another log on the fire - get ready for a swell Noel this December on FOX. Plan on sugar plums dancing in your head and Jack Frost nipping at your nose, when FOX celebrates the yuletide with festive seasonal episodes and joyous original specials.

Pa rum pum pum pum! Direct from the legendary Las Vegas Strip and featuring performances and appearances by the year's chart-topping artists, THE 2004 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS Wednesday, Dec. 8 (8:00-10:00 PM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) honors the year's No. 1 artists and songs as determined by record sales and radio airplay. The only show of its kind, THE 2004 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS creates a true souvenir of the year in music.

The weather outside is (not that) frightful when winter comes to THE O.C., as Ryan, Seth, Marissa and Summer attend the annual SnO.C. Winter Ball on the all-new "The SnO.C." episode airing Thursday, Dec. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). While Julie and Jimmy spend quality time together chairing the event's host committee, Sandy closes in on the truth that Caleb has been hiding.

Knowing exactly who's naughty and nice, FOX offers up an irreverent take on the holidays with an all-new COPS: HO! HO! HO! SPECIAL EDITION #2 Saturday, Dec. 11 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) and an encore of last year's COPS: HO! HO! HO! SPECIAL EDITION (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT).

On HOUSE, when a nun comes into the clinic presenting with swollen arms, rash and bleeding palms, possible signs of the stigmata, Dr. House's diagnosis is a bad allergy on the all-new "Damned If You Do" episode Tuesday, Dec. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). After giving the nun a shot of Benadryl, which causes a heart attack, House's actions come into question. Cuddy pulls him off the case, but her treatment may not be helping any more than his -- they're losing the nun. As the twists and turns of the Sister's case unfold, the team has to deal with questions of their own calling, faith and trust.

Hear those sleigh bells jingling, ring-ting-tingling too, on special, all-new holiday episodes of the FOX Wednesday night comedies Wednesday, Dec. 15. On THAT '70s SHOW (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), Kelso mistakes donated gifts left at the precinct for discarded toys, and gives them to the gang to enjoy. Meanwhile, Kitty's nemesis informs Kitty that she is taking over as The Women of Park Place Christmas Event Chair after last year's infamous "punch incident." At the event, Kitty panics when she learns that the donated toys - her only area of responsibility - are missing, putting Christmas in jeopardy.

Later that wintry night (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on QUINTUPLETS, Christmas is disrupted in the Chase household when the quints decide they want to break with tradition and get real Christmas gifts - not pictures of what they would like to get. Carol and Bob head to Atlantic City, hoping to win big so that they can return home with lots of presents. Meanwhile, Patton and Parker, both cast in a live nativity scene, vie for Mary's affections.

FOX is dreaming of a sandy Christmas with all-new holiday episodes of its sun-soaked dramas, THE O.C. and NORTH SHORE, airing Thursday, Dec. 16.

THE O.C. gift-wraps another seasonal treat (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), when Seth's favorite holiday, Chrismukkah, is nearly ruined, as secrets are revealed that will change the Cohen family forever. Meanwhile, Caleb's fate is determined when a witness comes forward.

It's a model holiday on NORTH SHORE (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), when famed fashion designer Adrian Webber (Phillip Rhys) launches his latest collection at The Grand Waimea, and his bevy of models turn up the heat at Christmas. After his hottest super-model injures one of her perfect ankles, Tessa takes to the catwalk, turning more than a few heads and causing friction with Frankie. Meanwhile, Jason realizes that Nicole may be moving on when he sees her having a romantic dinner with the hotel's new chef, and Nikki's first time at a real fashion show turns disastrous after she has one too many glasses of champagne and spies Alexandra (guest star Shannen Doherty) and Chris together.

Popeye returns to his seafarin' ways this holiday season for a brand-new 3-D, CGI-animated special, POPEYE'S VOYAGE: THE QUEST FOR PAPPY Friday, Dec. 17 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), co-written and executive-produced by actor, comedian and lifelong Popeye fan Paul Reiser ("Mad About You"). The world's favorite spinach-slinging sailor takes to the high seas in a daring trip to rescue the father who abandoned him as a child. Popeye sets sail for the Sea of Mystery with his, if not unlikely, then certainly unseaworthy, crew: the loutish Bluto, the lovelorn Olive Oyl, the fearless Swee'Pea and hamburger-loving stowaway, Wimpy. As the voyage progresses toward the Sea of Mystery, the Sea Hag's (voiced by Academy Award winner Kathy Bates) domain, strange and scary things begin to happen. The original special features a score and updated version of the classic "Popeye the Sailor Man" theme song created by film and television composer Mark Mothersbaugh, the front man of the legendary new wave band DEVO.

It's a swell time for FOX to rock the night away with the all-new, one-hour musical special JINGLE BALL ROCK '04 Friday, Dec. 17 at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT, featuring holiday-themed performances from today's hottest pop stars. The star-studded lineup, including Avril Lavigne and many others, will get into a festive groove, singing their favorite holiday songs along with some of their current hits.

Ol' St. Nelly?! Multi-platinum rapper Nelly gets into the holiday spirit for a seasonal jingle of his own on an all-new MADtv Saturday, Dec. 18 (11:00 PM-MIDNIGHT ET/PT).

Crack open the eggnog, throw some chestnuts on the fire! Holiday cheer is in the air as FOX serves up a night full of seasonal goodies on Sunday, Dec. 19.

First up, Marion Ross, Mrs. Cunningham on "Happy Days," guest-stars on an all-new KING OF THE HILL (7:00-7:30 PM ET/PT). An elderly stranger, Ms. Wakefield (Ross), shows up on the Hill doorstep at Christmas, wanting to take a look at her childhood home. Hank is thrilled to show her around, until Ms. Wakefield announces that she wants to die in their house. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night, indeed!

Next, on the all-new "Hal's Christmas Gift" episode of MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT), Hal and Lois, strapped for cash, decide that Christmas gifts will have to be homemade this year. When everyone makes much better gifts than Hal, he spins a bigger and bigger lie about the present he has in store for them. In desperation, Hal pick-pockets Malcolm's secret credit card, and buys the family a ski vacation. Nothing says "the holidays" quite like lying to your family and stealing from your children!

On an encore of "'Tis The Fifteenth Season" episode of THE SIMPSONS (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), Homer is given a Joe DiMaggio rookie card by an oblivious-to-its-value Burns and sells it for a pile of cash. After spending most of the money on himself and then seeing "A Christmas Carol" on TV, Homer desperately tries to make up for his greedy ways by doing favors for everyone he can.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT offers a special holiday delivery - the "Afternoon Delight" episode of the Emmy Award-winning comedy (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), directed by series regular Jason Bateman. Gob and Michael prepare for the company Christmas party, making Gob power-mad in the process. After an employee inadvertently roasts Gob at the party, he gets furious and fires everyone, ruining the annual shindig and putting the company in jeopardy. To woo the employees back, Michael decides they must throw another party. Meanwhile, a prankster throws the banana stand into the bay, forcing the Bluths to rebuild. The unveiling of the new stand at the marina is the perfect setting for the employee party, until Gob, dressed in a banana costume, gets stuck in the stand and a high Lucille then crashes her car into it.

It's like unwrapping a new gift every week on THE SWAN, as self-proclaimed "ugly ducklings" are given the unique opportunity to realize their dreams. The unscripted series that turns a fairy tale into reality, THE SWAN revitalizes women who are stuck in a rut by revealing their beauty and confidence through physical, mental and emotional transformations with the help of a team of specialists. Each week this season, two women and their stunning transformations are featured, with one of the two contestants selected to compete in the Swan Pageant. The second season culminates on its two-hour finale Monday, Dec. 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) with the spectacular pageant, in which one woman will be crowned "The Swan."

On a very merry encore of last year's "Christmas" episode of THAT '70s SHOW Wednesday, Dec. 22 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), Jackie invites the guys to her high school Christmas dance, and they are reluctant to go - until they discover they're much cooler now that they've graduated. Meanwhile, Kelso ditches the dance to visit Brooke (guest star Shannon Elizabeth) at the library, and Kitty casts Red as the local Santa, which sparks a rivalry between Red and Bob.

Seth combines Hanukkah and Christmas into his own perfect holiday on last year's now-classic "The Best Chrismukkah Ever" episode of THE O.C. (Thursday, Dec. 23, 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). It looks like the holiday season is going to be another smashing success - until Summer and Anna force Seth to choose between them. Ryan is weary of the holidays, knowing that every other Christmas has involved family fights and his mom hitting the bottle. Meanwhile, Marissa is having her own problems coping with her family situation and turns to alcohol to drink the holiday away.

On Christmas Eve Friday, Dec. 24 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), FOX lets viewers open a special package a little early - the World Broadcast Premiere of ROCKY & BULLWINKLE. Rocky the flying squirrel, and his erudite friend, Bullwinkle J. Moose, are living in the now desolate Frostbite Falls, barely surviving on diminishing residual checks from re-runs of their old television series. Meanwhile, back in Pottsylvania, Fearless Leader (Robert DeNiro) and his notorious spies, Boris Badenov (Jason Alexander) and Natasha Fatale (Rene Russo), have escaped their cartoon existences, and are reborn as characters in flesh and blood. The evil trio hatches a ruthless plan to take over the world, forcing Rocky and Bullwinkle to stop them once and for all.

FOX dons the red suit and shimmies down the chimney to bring viewers a holiday twist on the world's funniest home videos, news outtakes, international commercials and more on an encore of FUNNIEST HOLIDAY MOMENTS airing on Christmas Day, Saturday, Dec. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Find out what happens when Thanksgiving turkeys get revenge, when Santa gets stuck in a compromising position and the real reason behind mom and dad's New Year's Day headache. Later that night (11:00 PM-MIDNIGHT ET/PT), MADtv keeps the seasonal laughs coming by breaking out last year's classic holiday edition.

But the yuletide surprises don't stop on Christmas! While Santa might be taking a much-deserved night off, FOX has a few more stocking stuffers up its sleeve, including classic holiday installments of KING OF THE HILL, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE.

On the encore "Livin' on Reds, Vitamin C and Propane" episode of KING OF THE HILL Sunday, Dec. 26 (7:30-8:00 PM ET/PT), Peggy decides writing a Christmas carol would be a worthwhile money-making venture and enlists the help of Luanne.

The night's jolly good cheer continues with an encore of the "In God We Trust" episode of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT). When Lucille turns Michael and Lindsay against each other, they vow to get even with her. Meanwhile, George Michael impresses Maeby with a manly costume he must wear for a charity event, and Buster's affair with Lucille 2 (guest star Liza Minnelli) causes him to pull away from his mother.

Then, Hal and the boys pool their money to buy Christmas trees to sell over the holidays on the encore "Christmas Trees" episode of MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT). At the tree lot, they are forced to lower their prices in order to compete with the church down the block. But when their business booms, Hal and the boys are threatened by two priests from the competing lot and end up selling the trees from inside their home, much to the neighbors' dismay.

O Come All Ye Faithful IDOL fans, AMERICAN IDOL winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard and Fantasia perform classic holiday songs and selections from their current CDs on an encore of the one-hour holiday special KELLY, RUBEN & FANTASIA: HOME FOR CHRISTMAS airing Monday, Dec. 27 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

It's a touch-and-go countdown on an encore of last year's New Year's Eve episode of THE O.C. Thursday, Dec. 30 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Ryan and Marissa decide to spend a low-key night together with the comforts of popcorn and movies, but when Marissa gets invited to Oliver's (Taylor Handley) New Year's shindig, it seems that their special evening will be spent apart. As the clock ticks closer toward midnight, it becomes less and less likely that Ryan and Marissa will share their first New Year's kiss.

Finally, ring in 2005 with the NEW YEAR'S EVE SPECIAL ON FOX (working title) Friday, Dec. 31 (11:00 PM-12:30 AM ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed). AMERICAN IDOL's Ryan Seacrest hosts the festivities live from New York City, featuring celebrity interviews and musical acts from one of the hottest New Year's Eve parties in town at Planet Hollywood in Times Square.

Additional FOX holiday programming information will be announced soon.
