BURBANK -- October 28, 2004 November heats up as two of NBC's most popular dramas -- "Crossing Jordan" and "Las Vegas" -- will each share its top stars in a two-part crossover episode over consecutive nights on Sunday and Monday, November 7-8, concerning a mysterious death discovered aboard the Montecito Hotel's company jet when it makes an emergency landing in Boston from Las Vegas.

Beginning on "Crossing Jordan" (Sundays, 10-11 p.m. ET) on November 7, Jordan (Jill Hennessy) and Woody (Jerry O'Connell) find casino host Sam Marquez (Vanessa Marcil, "Las Vegas") and casino security head Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamal) landing in Boston -- along with a dead high roller with $3 million handcuffed to his wrist. As Sam and Danny become potential suspects in the death, the Montecito's Ed Deline (James Caan) pays a special visit to Boston to clear his staff of any connection with the crime.

When Jordan and Woody discover clues leading to a new suspect, the trail leads them to Sin City, where they combine forces with the "Las Vegas" team to solve the murder of the high-stakes gambler. The storyline concludes on November 8 on "Las Vegas" (9-10 p.m. ET).

This Fall, "Las Vegas" is averaging a 4.6 rating, 11 share among adults 18-49 and 11.7 million viewers overall while "Crossing Jordan" is generating a 4.5 rating, 11 share in the 18-49 and 12.4 million total viewers. Both have delivered impressive numbers, especially relative to their lead-ins, with "Las Vegas" retaining 100 percent of its powerful 18-49 lead-in from "Fear Factor" and "Crossing Jordan" building by 10 percent on its strong lead-in from "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."

"Crossing Jordan" is from Tailwind Productions in association with NBC Universal Television Studio. Tim Kring (NBC's "Providence") is creator and executive producer; Dennis Hammer and Allan Arkush are executive producers.

Creator Gary Scott Thompson ("The Fast and the Furious") serves as executive producer along with Gardner Stern (NBC's "Law & Order," "NYPD Blue"), Scott Steindorff ("The Human Stain"), Justin Falvey ("Undeclared") and Darryl Frank ("Taken") for "Las Vegas," from NBC Universal Televison Studio and DreamWorks Television..
