CARSON DALY AND MOLLY SIMS TO CO-HOST NBC'S 2004 RADIO MUSIC AWARDS LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS ON OCTOBER 25 ON NBC

TIM MCGRAW, DESTINY?S CHILD, ASHLEE SIMPSON, ALANIS MORISETTE, TRAIN, RYAN CABRERA, 3 DOORS DOWN AND CHINGY ARE CONFIRMED TO JOIN JANET JACKSON, ELTON JOHN, USHER, UNCLE KRACKER, NICKELBACK AND MANY MORE

BURBANK, Calif. -- October 20, 2004 -- On Monday, October 25, music superstars Destiny's Child, Tim McGraw, Ashlee Simpson, Alanis Morisette, Train and 3 Doors Down will join the biggest names in music to celebrate their successes at the 2004 Radio Music Awards (RMAs) live from the Aladdin Casino Resort, the future home of Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thought of by the music industry as the Golden Globes of music award shows because of its casual party-style, this year promises to be even bigger than last with Janet Jackson being recognized for her success with the Radio Legend Award.

Hosted by Carson Daly and Molly Sims, the 2004 Radio Music Awards will open with a performance of "Lose My Breathe" by the reunited group Destiny's Child -- Beyonc? Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Joining Destiny's Child in special performances for the RMAs will be Tim McGraw, Train, Chingy, Ashlee Simpson, Alanis Morisette, Gretchen Wilson with Big and Rich and, as previously announced, Elton John.

Other confirmed talent include Ciara, Carmen Electra, Ty Murray, Mark McGrath, Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne and many more.

In their first telecast on NBC last October, "The 2003 Radio Music Awards" scored a 4.5 rating, 11 share among adults 18-49 and averaged 9.6 million viewers overall, to jump 80 percent above the event's previous highest 18-49 result (2.5/8 on ABC Friday, Oct. 26, 2001) and 4.0 million persons above the previous high in total viewers. Last year's 4.5 rating among adults 18-49 topped such rival awards telecasts as the People's Choice Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, the World Music Awards and the Tony Awards.
