TRUMP SHAKES UP THE TEAMS IN A SURPRISE CORPORATE RESTRUCTURE BEFORE SENDING THEM TO THE DOGS ON THE NEXT 'APPRENTICE' (OCTOBER 21, 9-10PM ET)

"New Yorkers love their dogs," says Trump.

NEW YORK -- October 19, 2004 -- The remaining 12 candidates on NBC's "The Apprentice" (October 21, 9-10pm ET) have just sat down to dinner when Trump summons them in for an urgent boardroom announcement. He institutes a surprise corporate restructure making the two teams, previously men vs. women, co-ed. The method in which the teams must split themselves up is a humbling experience for some of the candidates.

As the new teams get to know each other, Trump issues task #7. In a humorous departure from the previous six weeks, teams must this time hit the streets of New York and create their own dog service business. Even Trump declares, "New Yorkers love their dogs. The pet business is a $30 billion industry." The team with the most profit in one day wins.

Some of the candidates have trouble getting their hands dirty and two others have a showdown with a pesky pooch. Trump Organization EVP and CFO Allen Weisselberg makes his first appearance in the boardroom filling in for George Ross who was on a business trip.
