PETER GOLDEN PROMOTED TO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, TALENT AND CASTING, CBS

Peter Golden, who has overseen casting during CBS's rise to becoming America's most watched network, has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Talent and Casting, CBS, expanding his responsibilities to include casting oversight of Paramount Network Television, it was announced by Nina Tassler, President CBS Entertainment and David Stapf, President, Paramount Network Television.

Reporting to both Tassler and Stapf, Golden will continue to oversee all talent and casting operations for CBS primetime and daytime series, television movies and mini-series, reality series and special programs. Additionally, he will oversee the casting of all programs produced by Paramount Network Television.

"Peter's ability to spot talent, both new and veteran stars, has been key to CBS's success," said Tassler. "Our comedies, dramas, long form and reality programs have all benefited from Peter's eye for talent and his instinct for matching the right artist with the right project."

Said Stapf: "Peter has the respect and admiration of agents, producers, talent and everyone in the creative community. These relationships will be a major asset as we develop the next generation of hit programs at Paramount."

Since joining the Network, Golden has supervised casting on more than 100 series including EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, WITHOUT A TRACE, THE KING OF QUEENS, TWO AND A HALF MEN, CSI: NY, COLD CASE, JOAN OF ARCADIA and CSI: MIAMI as well as SURVIVOR and THE AMAZING RACE.
