'SEX AND THE CITY' STAR KRISTIN DAVIS GRACES 'WILL & GRACE' AS ONE-HALF OF A SIMILAR MALE-FEMALE FRIENDSHIP ON NOVEMBER 4, 2004
BURBANK -- October 7, 2004 -- 'Sex and the City' alumna Kristin Davis will guest-star in a November sweeps episode of NBC's 'Will & Grace' on Thursday, November 4(8:30-9 p.m. ET).
In the episode, "Will & Grace & Vince & Nadine," Davis portrays Nadine, Vince's (guest star, Bobby Cannavale) best female friend similar to the relationship Grace (Debra Messing) has to Will (Eric McCormack). When Will and Grace invite Vince and Nadine over for a meet-and-greet dinner, they find to their horror that their guests are actually polar opposites of themselves.
Meanwhile, Karen (Megan Mullally) is still angry with Grace and decides to leave the firm when Jack (Sean Hayes) comes to her rescue and hires Karen to be his new assistant at "Out TV."
Davis has been in demand on television ever since her breakthrough role as the devious Brooke Armstrong on the long-running "Melrose Place." But she is best known for her more intellectual character as Charlotte York on HBO's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning "Sex and the City," which concluded its sixth and final season months ago. Davis has received Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for her role as Charlotte.
In addition, Davis recently entered into a development deal with HBO to create a series for the network in which she will star. In July 2004, Davis also signed on as the new face of Maybelline New York, representing the brand in national TV commercials and print advertisements to appear in later this year.
Emmy winners David Kohan and Max Mutchnick are the creators and executive producers. Alex Herschlag and Dave Flebotte serve as executive producers and showrunners. Multi-Emmy winner James Burrows (NBC's "Frasier," "Friends") is director and executive producer. "Will & Grace" is from KoMut Entertainment in association with NBC Universal Television Studio and Three Sisters Entertainment.
