Frankenstein' Expert Gives Hallmark Channel Miniseries Thumb's Up

'FRANKENSTEIN' EXPERT GIVES HALLMARK CHANNEL MINISERIES THUMB'S UP

John Karwin is frank about "Frankenstein." The curator for California's Fullerton Museum Center has been a lifelong collector of all things "Frankenstein." In his expert opinion, "No film version has even come close to matching Mary Shelley's description of the Creature - eight feet tall, with long black flowing hair, and yellow skin." That sad scenario is about to change.

"This is as close to Shelley's vision as I have ever seen on film," Karwin says about "Frankenstein," the Hallmark Channel Original miniseries premiering Tuesday, October 5 (Part One) and Wednesday, October 6 (Part 2) at 9/8c.

"Finally," declares Karwin, who counts among his collection more than 100 vintage copies of Shelley's classic, "someone got it right!"
