"THE FORGOTTEN KINGDOM: PRINCE HARRY IN LESOTHO"
Documentary Will Air This Fall on "Primetime Live"
ABC News has acquired the exclusive U.S. broadcast rights to the documentary "The Forgotten Kingdom: Prince Harry in Lesotho" from Granada International, it was announced today by ABC News senior vice president Phyllis McGrady. The documentary, produced by ITN, chronicles the 20-year-old prince's two months in the African nation of Lesotho earlier this year and his efforts to shed more light on the AIDS epidemic that has ravaged that country, as well as the plight of abused and orphaned children. During his stay, Prince Harry assisted with a range of projects, giving him real insight into the scale of Lesotho's difficulties. Throughout the hour-long program, the Prince discusses his work in Lesotho and his hopes of drawing attention to the problems of developing countries. The documentary will air this Sunday on Britain's ITV1 and later this fall on the ABC News newsmagazine "Primetime Live."
