LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX is the latest network to swap titles on one its fall series as the reality entry "Family Time" will now feature the moniker "Renovate My Family."
Here's how FOX's press materials describe the project: "Hosted by best-selling author Jay McGraw, son of Dr. Phil McGraw, RENOVATE MY FAMILY is not just a home-improvement show it's a life improvement program that visits families who have encountered some challenge along the way. Whether it be weight issues, physical disabilities or a home that is crumbling, RENOVATE MY FAMILY can overcome any obstacle, get families back on track and help them forge ahead toward their goals. A panel of makeover professionals a stylist, an interior designer, a construction crew, and even experts who re-invent cars and pamper pets will help restore and redecorate the lives of families in need."
FOX plans to run the series Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00/8:00c beginning September 7, with a special two-hour installment on Thursday, September 9 at 8:00/7:00c.
Jean-Michel Michenaud, Chris Cowan and Ray Giuliani are the executive producers of "Family," which comes from Rocket Science Laboratories ("Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy").
