CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- Cable channels Lifetime and ABC Family are set to bow a handful of new original series this summer as various sources have revealed firm launch dates for their respective projects.
Here's a breakdown of what to expect:
-- Lifetime will launch its two new drama series "Wild Card" and "1-800-Missing" on Saturday, August 2. The former, about a former Las Vegas blackjack dealer (Joely Fisher) who stumbles into a career as an insurance fraud investigator, kicks things off at 9:00/8:00c followed by "Missing," about an F.B.I. agent (Gloria Reuben) who partners with a young psychic woman (Katerina Scorson), at 10:00/9:00c.
-- As previously announced, ABC Family's revival of "Dance Fever" is set to bow Sunday, July 13 at 7:00/6:00c with a two-hour special.
