CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- After three months of being on hiatus, the WB will bring back "Do Over" beginning on Friday, March 21.
That's the latest news from the Frog's press release for the March 16-21 air dates. The episode, "Chilghetti," is described as follows:
SAVING FACE After Joel finally convinces his dad (Michael Milhoan) to support one of his moms (Gigi Rice) inventions, hes left wondering what to do when her latest project turns out to be a truly terrible idea. Meanwhile, Joel tries to prevent Isabelle (Natasha Melnick) from auditioning for the school play knowing that a horrifyingly embarrassing event will take place. Josh Wise and Angela Goethals also star. Lev L. Spiro directed the episode written by Casey Johnson & David E. Windsor.
The episode will air at 8:30/7:30c between "What I Like About You" and "Reba." Previously the WB had planned to move "Greetings from Tucson" to the 8:30/7:30c slot. "Tucson's" new return date has yet to be announced.
So far this season, "Do Over" has averaged just 2.22 million viewers, second only to the canceled series "Off Centre" as the network's least watched program. Including "Chilghetti," there are just four episodes of "Do Over" left to air. With the series not expected to return for the WB's fall 2003 schedule, cast members are attaching themselves to other projects. Already Angela Goethals (Cheryl Larsen) has signed on for the CBS drama pilot "The Brotherhood of Poland, N.H." from David E. Kelley.
