ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - The show's seventh season has added Lauryn Hardy as Tori, "the head cheerleader at Beverly High and a competitive athlete"; Terayle Hill as Marqui Edwards, "the charming yet dangerous father of Khalil (Antonio J. Bell)"; and Sasha Lance as Breonna Strong, "a brilliant and passionate law school associate professor, who's unapologetic in how she moves through life." (Deadline.com, 12/16)
ASSOCIATE, THE (Showtime) - Alex Fine has been cast in Guy Ritchie's crime series as Donnie, "Harry's adversary." (Deadline.com, 12/16)
BANANAS (Apple TV+, New!) - Oscar Isaac and Ana de Armas will topline a yet-to-be-revealed drama at the streamer from writer Carolina Paiz and director David O. Russell. All four will executive produce alongside Gena Konstantinakos for MadGene Media and Fifth Season. (Deadline.com, 12/19)

BIG BANG THEORY SPIN-OFF PROJECT, THE (Max) - Zak Penn has been tapped to co-write the project's script alongside Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady. No details are available other than alums Kevin Sussman, Brian Posehn and Lauren Lapkus are attached to star. (Deadline.com, 12/19)
BURNFIELD (FX, New!) - Justin Chon and Bobby Hundreds are set to team for a half-hour series based on their experience in the streetwear scene. No other plot specifics were given. Garrett Basch will also executive produce with Chon directing from a script he co-wrote with Hundreds for FX Productions and Dive. (Deadline.com, 12/19)
EXTREME ROAD RAGERS (A&E) - Premiere episodes of "Extreme Road Ragers" are being removed from the A&E schedule on Tuesday nights beginning January 7. These remaining premieres will now air on our sister network FYI in February. (A&E.com, 12/20)
GIRLS5EVA (Netflix) - The streamer has opted against a fourth season for the comedy series, marking the second time the show has been canceled. The series originated on Peacock before being picked up Netflix for its third season. (Deadline.com, 12/17)
GOOD DAUGHTER, THE (Peacock) - Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy have both signed on to star in the limited series as sisters Samantha and Charlotte Quinn. Fahy replaces Jessica Biel, who bowed out earlier this year. Byrne will receive an executive produce credit in addition to starring. (Deadline.com, 12/19)
INTO THE VOID (Hulu, New!) - The streamer has commissioned an eight-part series comes from Vice Studios Canada: "It will chronicle the emotional sagas behind the most towering legends and unforgettable artists in heavy metal. It will go behind the stage into the real lives of heavy metal icons." Evan Husney and Jason Eisener are the executive producers. (Deadline.com, 12/16)
LEANNE (Netflix) - The Leanne Morgan-led multi-camera comedy has confirmed a principal cast which includes Graham Rogers as Tyler, Leanne's son; Hannah Pilkes as Josie, Leanne's daughter; Ryan Stiles as Bill, Leanne's ex-husband; Celia Weston as Mama Margaret; and Blake Clark as Daddy John. Kristen Johnston also stars. Morgan, Susan McMartin, Chuck Lorre, Judi Marmel and Nick Bakay are the executive producers for Chuck Lorre Productions and Warner Bros. Television. (Variety.com, 12/18)
MADISON, THE (Paramount Network) - Taylor Sheridan's latest entry has cast Kevin Zegers as Cade, "Stacy's (Michelle Pfeiffer) new neighbor, asked to look out for the place until the family showed up"; Alaina Pollack as Macy, "Abigail's (Beau Garrett) youngest daughter, who also grew up in a wealthy New York City family"; Rebecca Spence as Liliana Weeks, "Stacy's friend and a fellow member of the New York City elite"; and Danielle Vasinova as Kestrel, "an indigenous woman married to a Montana rancher who lives with her family on a double-wide trailer on their ranch." NEUROMANCER (Apple TV+) - Joseph Lee has signed onto the William Gibson adaptation as Hideo, a ninja bodyguard. Callum Turner and Briana Middleton also star. (Deadline.com, 12/19)
NOBODY WANTS THIS (Netflix) - Executive producers Erin and Sara Foster have signed an overall deal with 20th Television, home to the hit comedy series. (Deadline.com, 12/17)
NOVA (Disney+, New!) - Ed Bernero has been tapped to spearhead the proposed Marvel Comics series about the intergalactic police force known as the Nova Corps, succeeding Sabir Pirzada. (Deadline.com, 12/16)
OLD MAN, THE (FX) - The Jeff Bridges-led drama series has been canceled after two seasons. (Deadline.com, 12/17)
ONE (Amazon, New!) - Felicity Jones is attached to star in an officially sanctioned scripted series from Formula 1 at the streamer, which "will focus on a failing family-owned racing team, led by Jones' character, as it contends with fierce personalities, ever-changing rivals and multi-million-dollar stakes." Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby are penning the project with Jones, Alexander Jones, Tony To, Dan Sackheim and Philippe Maigret also executive producing for Piecrust Pictures, Bedrock Entertainment, ITV Studios America and Amazon MGM Studios. PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS (Disney+) - The show's second season has cast Rosemarie DeWitt as C.C., "a stylish and composed New Age guru-type whom Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) encounter in their quest to find the Golden Fleece"; Aleks Paunovic as Polyphemus, "an ancient cyclops who was blinded by Odysseus long ago"; Beatrice Kitsos as Alison Simms, "a Camp Half-Blood "graduate" who lives in the human world but is a true believer in the world Kronos is promising and aligns herself with Luke"; and Kevin Chacon as Chris Rodriguez, "who like Luke is a son of Hermes and is part of his group (Andrew Alvarez played Chris in few episodes of season one)." PERFECT LINE, THE (Syndication) - The Deborah Norville-hosted game show from CBS Media Ventures is officially a go for a fall 2025 launch. (Variety.com, 12/19)
POPPA'S HOUSE (CBS) - Vivica A. Fox will drop by an April installment of the series as a judge: "Her catchphrase is 'Say Wha?!' and the court loves to join in with her. She rules her courtroom with an iron fist; she is not to be messed with, as Junior will discover. She takes a liking to Poppa, and is very impressed with his style and demeanor, much to Junior's dismay." (TVLine.com, 12/20)
REVIVAL (Syfy) - The upcoming comic book-turned-TV series has cast Gia Sandhu as Nithiya Weimar, "a seasoned psychologist fighting Stage 4 cancer"; Katharine King So as May Tao, "a local journalist with a healthy distrust of the Wausau Police who harbors big secrets of her own"; Maia Jae Bastidas as Kay, "Em's opinionated college roommate with a penchant for getting high and getting into trouble"; Nathan Dales as Deputy McCray, "the obnoxious, abrasive head of the local Drug Task Force"; Mark Little as Deputy Brent, "Dana's closest confidant on the force"; Glen Gould as Deputy JP Brissett, "second in command under Wayne Cypress"; Lara Jean Chorostecki as Patty Cypress, "deceased mother of Em and Dana and the late wife of Wayne Cypress"; and Conrad Coates as Mayor Dillisch, "Wausau's Mayor who despite his best efforts is thrown into the center of the Revival Day mystery and is constantly at odds with the Sheriff." SHEEPDOGS (Apple TV+, New!) - Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman's Playtone is developing Elliot Ackerman's upcoming novel as a TV series at Apple Studios: "Sheepdogs revolves around Skwerl and Cheese, two elite paramilitary soldiers down on their luck. Skwerl is an ex-Marine who used to work for the CIA's elite paramilitary wing, fired after a raid went bad in Afghanistan. Big Cheese Aziz is a legendary pilot, but the fall of Kabul has left him working the nightshift at a gas station. Skwerl recruits Cheese into an anonymous network of so-called sheepdogs, who operate in the shadowy space between predator and prey. Their mission, which Skwerl convinces a reluctant Cheese to accept, is to repossess a private jet stranded on a remote African airfield. Their fee: a commission on the jet's $5 million value. But nothing about the job adds up. Their contact goes missing. Their handler is as mysterious as the real source of the money. And when the women in their lives get involved - one pregnant wife and one a dominatrix - the stakes skyrocket. As things go awry, they join forces with an eccentric bomb technician turned off-the-grid survivalist, a lapsed Amish adventurer, a used car dealer elected to Congress, and a case officer known as the White Russian. UNTITLED JAMES WAN & SIMU LIU PROJECT (Peacock) - Saul Rubinek is the latest addition to the espionage thriller series as Victor Simonek, "a retired special agent and confidante to Liu's character." (Deadline.com, 12/16)
VACATIONLAND (NBC, New!) - Matt Nix, Tess Gerritsen and Dan Rosen are set to team for a potential new drama at the network: "From Universal Television, the series follows top LAPD detective Grace Chen after she resigns from her job in disgust. She retires to the quirky village of Serenity, Maine, determined to put it all behind her. When Serenity's Sheriff is murdered, however, Grace finds herself dragged back into crime fighting by Joey, a local veterinarian and amateur sleuth determined to protect the town she loves. WILD CARDS (The CW) - The show's sophomore run has added Martin Sheen as Joseph Edwards, "the greatest conman of all time, who has a connection to Max and George (Jason Priestley); Ally Sheedy as Rose Pruett, "a tough, no-nonsense ranch owner"; Marie Avgeropoulos as Nadia Evans, "a street racing expert and fiercely protective mother"' Tony D'Angelo as Jaws, "a formidable and commanding criminal mastermind"; and Katie Findlay as Maddy, "Max's sassy best friend and former partner-in-crime." WIN OR LOSE (Disney+) - Pixar's new animated series "will no longer include a transgender storyline in a later episode." A spokesperson for Disney told the publication: "When it comes to animated content for a younger audience, we recognize that many parents would prefer to discuss certain subjects with their children on their own terms and timeline." ZARNA (CBS) - The Zarna Garg-led multi-camera comedy has been ordered to pilot by the Eye: "Zarna centers on the eponymous heroine Zarna (Garg), a proud immigrant woman who's been raising her American-born kids on Indian values. But now that they're getting older, it's time for her to focus on her own American dream." Garg and Darlene Hunt wrote the script and will executive produce alongside Mindy Kaling, Jessica Kumai Scott, Howard Klein, Kevin Hart, Bryan Smiley and Mike Stein for Kaling International, 3 Arts Entertainment, Hartbeat and Warner Bros.
