GUILTY PARTY (Paramount+) - The Kate Beckinsale-led comedy series has cast Geoff Stults as Marco, "Beth's (Beckinsale) husband, a true-blue park ranger who rolls with the punches and tries to be sympathetic to his once illustrious journalist wife's frustration in her lowly new job"; Jules Latimer as Toni, "a young woman who has been sentenced to 92 years without parole for murdering her husband, a no-good gun runner whom she stridently maintains she did not kill"; Tiya Sircar as Fiona, "Beth's associate at the online publication"; Alanna Ubach as Tessa, "this news anchor was lapped by Beth when they started out as young reporter"; Laurie Davidson as George, "a low-level gun runner who is the brains of the operation"; and Andre Hyland as Wyatt, "a dangerous, bigoted buffoon who thinks he's way smarter than he is and has the sense of humor of a 13-year-old boy." HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT HURTING MEN'S FEELINGS (CBS) - Sarah Cooper's single-camera comedy - which "follows three women at different stages in their careers at a male-dominated company who help each other navigate modern gender politics in their professional and personal lives" - has received a pilot order from the Eye. Cooper co-write the project alongside Cindy Chupack and will serve as a co-executive producer. Chupack, Nina Tassler, Denise Di Novi and Joan Boorstein of PatMa Productions are the executive producers for CBS Studios. (Variety.com)

LIGHTYEARS (Amazon) - Oscar-winner Sissy Spacek and Emmy-nominee Ed O'Neill are set to topline the sci-fi drama series. She'll play Irene, "a retired English teacher with a thoughtful, magnetic presence. As her health fades, Irene's life with her husband Franklin increasingly revolves around visits to the chamber. For decades they've kept the chamber a secret, with Irene obsessing about the deeper meaning of their discovery." And he's set as Franklin, "a former woodworker with a charmingly grumpy demeanor. After more than 50 years of marriage, Franklin still has a powerful devotion to his wife but doesn't share her fascination with the chamber, a secret which weighs heavily on him. For her sake, he is willing to endure its presence in their lives, but his patience is wearing thin." (Deadline.com)
NATIONAL PARKS (ABC) - Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut and Blu Hunt are both bound for the Billy Campbell-led drama pilot. The former will play Penny Stanton, "a rookie ISB Special Agent eager to take on any challenge and prove herself capable both in physical prowess and with her ability to solve problems by making human connections with others." The latter then is set as Nore Yazzie, "a fun-loving National Park Service Park Ranger who assists the ISB with their cases inside Yosemite National Park." (Deadline.com)
OBI-WAN KENOBI (Disney+) - Indira Varma has been cast in the much-ballyhooed "Star Wars" series in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
QUEENS (ABC) - Tim Story has signed on to direct and executive produce the drama pilot, which "follows four women, estranged and out-of-touch, in their 40s reunite for a chance to recapture their fame and regain the swagger they had as the Nasty Bitches - their '90s group that made them legends in the hip-hop world." TERMINAL LIST, THE (Amazon) - Constance Wu is the latest to be cast in the Chris Pratt-led drama as Katie Buranek, "a risk-seeking war correspondent who uses her byline to speak truth to power. Katie left her desk at a prestigious news outlet to pursue high-impact stories on her own terms. Now at a crossroads in her career, she finds an unlikely ally in rogue Navy SEAL James Reece. She seeks to re-enter the mainstream by bringing the truth about Reece and the conspiracy he's fighting against to light." (Deadline.com)
TRUE STORY (Netflix) - Theo Rossi has scored a role on the Kevin Hart/Wesley Snipes-led limited series as Gene, "an excitable, wildly enthusiastic super-fan who follows The Kid (Hart) around on every leg of his comedy tour." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED TOM SMALLWOOD PROJECT (CBS, New!) - The Eye has given a pilot order to a multi-camera comedy based on the life of professional bowler Tom Smallwood: "In the series, after being laid off from the assembly line at the GM factory, a seemingly ordinary man makes the extraordinary decision to provide for his family by following his dream of becoming a professional bowler." Mark Gross will write and executive produce alongside David Hollander and Brian D'Arcy James for CBS Studios. (Variety.com)
WALKING DEAD, THE (AMC) - Michael James Shaw has joined the cast of the show's final season as Mercer, "a strong, badass presence with his Mr. T-esque haircut and red armor, which is a reflection of the power he has in the ranks." (Deadline.com)
