IN AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF '20/20,' CO-ANCHOR DEBORAH ROBERTS INVESTIGATES THE MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF A YOUNG FATHER, AIRING FRIDAY, FEB. 14, ON ABC AND STREAMING NEXT DAY ON HULU

Michael and Natalie Cochran were high school sweethearts in the small town of Beckley, West Virginia. They married during college, and after graduation, the young couple started a family, with Michael working as a computer specialist and Natalie as a pharmacist. With financial help from family and friends, Michael and Natalie launched a defense contracting business. As the business seemed to flourish, so did the Cochran's lifestyle - luxurious jewelry, vintage cars and multiple properties became a way of life. Suddenly, Michael fell ill and died just five days later. How could a 38-year-old father and husband suddenly end up in hospice with just days to live? Co-anchor Deborah Roberts investigates his mysterious death on "20/20," FRIDAY, FEB. 14 (9:01-11:00 p.m. EST) on ABC and streaming the next day on Hulu.

What appeared to be a promising success story for a young couple quickly turned into a nightmare that stunned their West Virginia community. The investigation deepened when police found that Cochran's business was nothing more than a Ponzi scheme, where investors were secretly defrauded.

With the trial just ending and verdict announced, Roberts exclusively interviews Chris and Jennifer Davis, neighbors of the Cochran's who also invested in the business; Toni McCall, a former friend and fraud victim; retired West Virginia State Police Capt. Tim Bledsoe; and retired trooper Robert Hinzman, a financial investigator with the West Virginia State Police. "20/20" also includes interviews with Donna Bolt, mother of Michael Cochran, as well as prosecutors, defense attorneys and others involved with the case.
