When Detective Ariki Davis (Dominic Ona-Ariki, The Commons) uses his matakite to save his boss Stephen Tremaine (Joel Tobeck, Lord of the Rings) from attempting suicide on infamous One Lane Bridge, he inadvertently triggers a cataclysmic chain of events that unleashes fierce rivalries, uncovers long-buried secrets and the claims the life of one of Ariki's nearest and dearest.
