'What Would You Do?' Airs Friday, Aug. 31 (9:00 - 10:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC
"What Would You Do?," airing Friday, Aug. 31 (9:00 - 10:01 p.m. EDT), features a scenario based on the national news story in which two Chicago CVS Health employees called the police on a black woman whom they believed was trying to use a fraudulent coupon. The two employees have since been fired.
"What Would You Do?" with Anchor John Qui�ones reveals how people behave when they think no one is watching by using hidden cameras to record people's real reactions to thought-provoking scenarios created by actors.
Friday, Aug. 31 scenarios include:
· An African American woman attempts to use a coupon, but the cashier refuses to accept or scan it, thinking it's fake. After the cashier calls the manager, the manager suggests that the customer leaves before he calls the police. What will other shoppers do?
· A foster mom is at a restaurant and begins to clearly treat her foster son differently than her biological daughter. What will fellow diners say? (OAD: 6/5/15)
· A slender young man introduces his plus-size girlfriend to his parents for the first time. He's head over heels in love with her and thinks she's beautiful, but all his parents see is an overweight woman, and they don't approve. What will those who overhear do? (OAD: 6/23/17)
· Two male college students go to a bar and start to take Adderall and drink alcohol so they can stay up and party all night. They try to convince their female friend to do the same. Will anyone at the bar try to prevent this dangerous behavior? (OAD: 7/29/16)
· A diner asks another customer to watch her laptop as she steps outside to use her phone. While the diner is away, the other customer spills a drink on the laptop, panics, and begs bystanders not to tell. Will they? (OAD: 7/14/17)
