It was opening day of baseball season at Dodger Stadium - they were playing their longtime rivals, the San Francisco Giants. As 56,000 fans celebrated America's pastime - fan loyalty went terribly wrong. Dr. Nancy Snyderman reports on the prognosis for Bryan Stow, who was beaten by 2 Dodger fans just after the game...apparently simply because he was wearing a Giants jersey. Today he remains in a long term rehabilitation center, and while his speech and mobility may improve, doctors believe he will be permanently disabled. Was it an isolated incident, or part of an epidemic of fan violence in professional sports?
