"James Malinchak: Gary, IN" -- "Secret Millionaire" is a one-hour alternative series that follows six of America's most successful business people as they spend a week in the country's poorest areas and ultimately gift deserving members of the community with hundreds of thousands of dollars of their own money. In this episode, motivational speaking mogul and author James Malinchak leaves his jet-setting life behind to live in Gary, Indiana, a city hit hard by the economic downturn. He will spend a week living on welfare level wages in a rundown neighborhood. While there, he will spend time volunteering where his help is needed most, searching for deserving people and organizations that are making a real difference, and will surprise these heroes with donations of thousands of dollars from his own fortune, on "Secret Millionaire" SUNDAY, MARCH 20 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on The ABC Television Network.

James Malinchak has delivered over 2,200 motivational presentations at conferences and meetings worldwide, and was named Consummate Speaker of the Year by Sharing Ideas professional speakers' magazine. He has appeared in USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and many, many other publications. Malinchak began his sales career right out of college as a stockbroker with a major Wall Street Investment Firm and was awarded Most Outstanding Performance (twice) and No. 1 in New Account Openings (twice). While in his twenties, he became a partner in a company that handled the investments for many famous entertainers, authors and professional athletes. Currently Malinchak owns three businesses, and has authored eight books and read and researched over 1,500 other books on personal and professional development. He is a contributing author to, and serves as associate editor for the No. 1 New York Times Best-Selling book series, Chicken Soup for the Soul,� with his own personal stories published in Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul, Chicken Soup for the Kid's Soul and Chicken Soup for the Prisoner's Soul. Based on the hit UK series of the same name, each episode of "Secret Millionaire" follows one of America's most successful business people for one week as they leave behind their lavish lifestyles, sprawling mansions and luxury jets, conceal their true identities, and go to live and volunteer in some of the most impoverished and dangerous neighborhoods in the country. Their mission is to discover deserving individuals who continually sacrifice everything to help those in need, and ultimately encourage others to do the same.
