AMY'S FATHER THINKS HE'S FOUND THE PERFECT ADOPTIVE PARENTS, WHILE ADRIAN MOVES ON FROM RICKY, ON "THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER," MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2009 ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (January 20, 2008) � Amy's father thinks he's found the perfect couple to adopt her baby, while Adrian moves on from Ricky and is attracted to new step-brother Max, on "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," Monday, February 2 (8:00 � 9:00 PM ET/PT).

In "Chocolate Cake," Amy invites Ricky over to discuss adoption options and is upset when Ricky invites Ben to be a part of it. At the meeting they bicker causing Amy to declare that either Ricky will keep the baby or they are giving it to a nice family who will take care of it. George is approached by his gay coworker and partner who would like to adopt Amy's baby, and he likes the idea very much. Meanwhile, with Ricky's father back in jail, Adrian tells Grace that she can date Ricky again. Frustrated by Ricky, Adrian fools around with her step-brother, Max, who drops by to find out if his step-father is cheating on his mother. And, Jack hooks up with his mentoree's sister, Shawna, only to be heartbroken when he finds out she has a boyfriend.

The series cast includes Shailene Woodley, Molly Ringwald, Mark Derwin, India Eisley, Ken Baumann, Daren Kagasoff, Francia Raisa, Megan Park, Greg Finley and Jorge�Luis Pallo. John Schneider, Josie Bissett, Ernie Hudson and Steve Schirripa also guest star, as well as Tom Virtue as Rev. Stone, Phillip Anthony-Rodriguez as Ruben, Biana Lawson as Shawna, James "Lil JJ" Lewis as Duncan, Alex Boling as Donovan, Larry Sullivan as Leon and Zachary Abel as Max. The first 11 episodes of the summer 2008 run of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" were released on DVD on December 30, 2008 by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.
