Catch Sneak-Peaks of This Year's Highly-Anticipated Super Bowl Commercials Before The Big Game

SUPER BOWL'S GREATEST COMMERCIALS 2009, an interactive entertainment special hosted by Jim Nantz, Lead Play-by-Play Announcer of THE NFL ON CBS, and co-host Daisy Fuentes, will be broadcast Saturday, Jan. 31 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Sponsors showcase their best commercials during the Super Bowl and the big game wouldn't be quite the same without them. For many, watching the commercials is the most fun part of the Super Bowl and at millions of dollars for 30 seconds on air, advertisers try to get their money's worth by rolling out their most creative and innovative spots. This one-hour special, now in its ninth year, will originate from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay and showcase 10 of the greatest commercials of all time.

The 10 greatest Super Bowl commercials will vie for the number one spot. Viewers can now go to www.cbs.com/superbowl to watch them and vote for their favorite. This year, the top three picks will be revealed during the show and, in a special vote on www.cbs.com/superbowl, viewers will decide which commercial will take home the ultimate title.

Viewers will also be able to catch a sneak peak of this year's most highly-anticipated commercials before the big game as well as get a behind-the-scenes look at how their favorite spots are made. In addition, the special will retire one of the most legendary commercials of all-time - the reigning champion, Coca-Cola's "Mean Joe Greene" spot, which has been the "Super Bowl's Greatest Commercial" winner for the past six years.

Jim Nantz has covered virtually every sport for the CBS Television Network since joining it in 1985. He has been the lead play-by-play voice for THE NFL ON CBS since 2004, teaming up with lead analyst Phil Simms on the Network's number one NFL announce team. For six years (1998-2003) he anchored the Network's NFL pre-game studio show, THE NFL TODAY. In 2007, Nantz in a 63-day span became the first commentator in history to complete a rare broadcasting triple - calling the Super Bowl, NCAA Men's Final Four and the Masters.

His other extensive credits include serving as host of THE SUPER BOWL TODAY, CBS Sports' Super Bowl XXXV and Super Bowl XXXVIII pre-game shows; lead play-by-play announcer for college basketball, including the Final Four and Championship game; anchor of CBS's golf coverage, including the Masters and the PGA Championship; and primetime host of CBS Sports' coverage of the 1998 Olympic Winter Games.

In 2008, Nantz co-authored with Eli Spielman the New York Times bestseller, Always By My Side. The book climbed to No. 3 on the New York Times list making it the highest ranking achieved this year by a sports book. Always By My Side spent seven weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. Nantz told his personal stories from football, basketball and golf and how he met people along the way who reminded him of the virtues his father instilled in him. The foreword to the book was written by one of his father figures and dear friend, former President George H.W. Bush

Nantz was named the 2007 National Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. Nantz, Pat Summerall, Chris Schenkel, Ray Scott and John Madden are the only commentators to ever win the award while working at CBS Sports. He had previously won the award in 2005 and 1998 and now joins Schenkel and Scott as the only CBS broadcasters to win the award more than once. Nantz also was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as the youngest recipient of the Curt Gowdy Media Award in 2002.

Daisy Fuentes is the first crossover VJ to appear on both the Spanish language MTV Latino and the original MTV. She was also the first prominently Latin face for Revlon cosmetics. Daisy most recently hosted "Ultimate Style" as well as various specials for the STYLE NETWORK. Her television credits include "America's Funniest Home Videos," "House Of Style," "MAD TV," "CNBC's Talk All Stars" and "The Larry Sanders Show."
