Phelps Swims in the Semifinal for 200m Individual Medley
BEIJING � Aug. 12, 2008 � NBC's primetime coverage of the Beijing Olympics Wednesday begins at 8 p.m. ET/PT featuring live men's gymastics individual all-around gold medal final and swimming gold medal finals. Monday in primetime, Team USA beat the odds and took the bronze medal in the men's gymnastics team final and Wednesday night Jonathan Horton and Alexander Artimev represent the USA in the individual all-around. In swimming, the hero of the 4x100m freestyle relay gold medal win Sunday in primetime, Jason Lezak, competes in the 100m freestyle gold medal final with Katie Hoff and Natalie Coughlin, both already Olympic medalists in Beijing, lead Team USA in the 4x200m freestyle relay gold medal final live. Michael Phelps will swim in the 200m individual medley semifinal live. Also live, Misty-May Treanor and Kerri Walsh continue their beach volleyball dominance against Norway (Hakedal/Torlen). Men's diving springboard synchronized gold medal final and women's cycling individual time trial are also in primetime.
