JAMIE SADLER, A 19-YEAR-OLD PRE-MED STUDENT AND PART-TIME CADDY FROM MONTCLAIR, N.J., WINS $1 MILLION, ON AN ENCORE PRESENTATION OF THE PREMIERE EPISODE OF "POWER OF 10," TO BE REBROADCAST ON A SPECIAL NIGHT, SATURDAY, AUG. 11
Jamie Sadler, a 19-year-old pre-med student and part-time caddy from Montclair, N.J., won $1 million after accurately predicting how the American public responded to a number of provocative poll questions. After correctly answering the question, "What percentage of women consider themselves feminists?" (29%) and earning $1 million, Jamie decided to walk away rather than risk it all on the fifth and final question, which could have earned him the $10 million Grand Prize. Sadler begins his sophomore year at the University of Florida this fall. An encore presentation of this episode will be rebroadcast on a special night, Saturday, Aug. 11 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. (Originally broadcast 8/7/07)
Also competing in the show was Maureen Francisco, a marketing sales manager, from Issaquah, Wash., who lost to Jamie Sadler during the first round of play. During the second game, which continues tonight, financial analyst Emily Kozlowicz from Woodside, N.Y. faced off with land consultant Louise Palmer from Bakersfield, Calif. Louise beat Emily in the first round of play and will continue her quest for $10 million tonight.
