A FAMILY OF SEVEN WITH LOTS OF LOVE BUT VERY LITTLE SPACE IN THEIR HOUSE
AND WHO, AS A RESULT, HAVE BEEN LIVING SEPARATELY FOR YEARS, WILL FINALLY
BE REUNITED THANKS TO "EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION"
The Home Recipients Exchange Vows in a Romantic Wedding Ceremony in Paris
"Fullerton-Machacek Family" -- Kenny Machacek and Theresa Fullerton of Lincoln, NE will receive a new home large enough to hold their whole brood of seven courtesy of Ty and the gang, on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," airing SUNDAY, JULY 15 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (Rebroadcast. OAD 1/7/07)
Although Kenny and Theresa attended the same high school, they never met until they began dating four years ago. Their previous marriages ended in divorce, and Theresa's ex-husband has since passed away. Theresa has three children, 18-year-old Brianna, 16-year-old Chelsey and 14-year-old Tucker, while Kenny has two, 18-year-old Ericka and 14-year-old Justin.
This loving family of seven love spending time together, but it's difficult since they still live separately. They split time between Kenny's cramped house and Theresa's even more cramped apartment. Kenny and Theresa want to be married and to finally be united under one roof, but the condition of Kenny's home has made it difficult to be sold. The three-bedroom, one-bathroom home is over a hundred years old and unsafe. Currently the two basement walls are buckling, the refrigerator isn't working and there's a leak in their only bathroom that they cannot afford to fix.
Move over "Brady Bunch": The "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" team is heading to the cornhusker state to fulfill these families' wish to live in a single spacious home and finally unite as one family.
While the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" design team, local builders Hartland Homes, contractors and hundreds of workers and volunteers are building a dream house for them in a remarkable seven days, the family will go on vacation to the Hilton in Paris. In addition, Kenny proposes to Theresa and they walk down the aisle in a romantic wedding ceremony onboard a cruise on the Seine River.
The design team for this episode of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" will feature team leader Ty Pennington and designers John Littlefield, Preston Sharp, Tanya McQueen and Tracy Hutson.
The series is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. It's executive-produced by Denise Cramsey. David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA. "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is broadcast with Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. This program carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
