ALL-STAR TRIBUTE TO SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE TO BE PERFORMED, ON "THE 48TH ANNUAL GRAMMY� AWARDS," LIVE FROM STAPLES CENTER IN LOS ANGELES, FEB. 8 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Maroon 5, John Legend, Will.I.Am, Joss Stone, Robert Randolph, Joe Perry, Steven Tyler And Devin Lima Will Perform

An all-star tribute to Sly and the Family Stone to be performed on THE 48TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS, live from Staples Center in Los Angeles, Wednesday, Feb. 8 (8:00-11:30 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Maroon 5, John Legend, Will.I.Am (of The Black Eyed Peas), Joss Stone, Robert Randolph, Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Steven Tyler and Devin Lima will perform a musical tribute to the legendary funk band.

Among Stone's biggest hits from the '60s and '70s are "I Want To Take You Higher," "Dance to the Music" and "Everyday People." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame� in 1993.

Past Grammy Award winner Maroon 5 is currently nominated for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. The Black Eyed Peas have won one Grammy Award and are currently nominated for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group and Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals (with Jack Johnson).

Previously announced performers are Mariah Carey, John Legend, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay, U2 and Mary J. Blige, Faith Hill and Keith Urban, Jamie Foxx with Kanye West, Christina Aguilera and Herbie Hancock, Sugarland and Hezekiah Walker with Mariah Carey. Previously announced presenters are Big & Rich, Tom Hanks and Terrence Howard.
