Gwen Stefani and Simple Plan Set to Perform

Teen Queen Hilary Duff and funnyman Rob Schneider are teaming up to host THE 2005 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS, celebrating the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion. Gwen Stefani will headline, performing her hit single "Hollaback Girl" off her five-times-platinum solo album "Love. Angel. Music. Baby." Stefani will also be honored with the Teen Choice Visionary Award for style and talent in the worlds of music, film and fashion. Simple Plan will perform their chart-topping single "Untitled (How Could This Happen To Me?)." Additional celebrities scheduled to appear include Paris Hilton Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba, Ryan Seacrest, Rachel Bilson, Wilmer Valderrama, Eva Mendes, Jesse McCartney, Jesse Metcalfe, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, The Black Eyed Peas, David Spade, Emma Roberts, Sophia Bush, Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon and Tyler Hilton. In this seventh annual edition, the coolest stars will receive coveted Teen Choice surfboard awards in categories such as Choice Breakout TV Show, Choice Movie Chemistry, Choice Reality/Variety Show, Choice Breakout Artist, Choice Male Hottie, Choice Female Athlete, Choice Liplock and Choice TV Sidekick on THE 2005 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS Tuesday, Aug. 16 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
