DREW BARRYMORE AND ANJELICA HUSTON STAR - This 1998 modern-day Cinderella story stars Drew Barrymore ("Charlie's Angels") as Danielle, the sole daughter of a deceased French Nobleman, who is raised as a servant by her cruel stepmother Rodmilla (Anjelica Huston, "Iron Jawed Angels"). When Danielle accidentally stumbles onto Prince Henry (Dougray Scott, "Mission Impossible: II"), the future King of France, the two fall in love and inspire each other to resolve their respective troubles at home. Megan Dodds and Melanie Lynskey also star. Based on the 1729 story by Charles Perrault, the film was directed by Andy Tennant with screenplay by Susannah Grant, Andy Tennant and Rick Parks.
