Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone will pay tribute to Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Janis Joplin; Jamie Foxx will perform with Alicia Keys; James Brown will perform with Usher; Al Green will join the tsunami fund-raising segment, and John Mayer will perform on THE 47TH ANNUAL GRAMMY� AWARDS, Sunday, Feb. 13 (8:00-11:30 PM, live ET/delayed PT), live from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, on the CBS Television Network. Queen Latifah was previously announced to host and perform.

Kevin Bacon, T Bone Burnett, Sheryl Crow and Lance Armstrong, Anthony Hamilton, Amy Lee, Ricky Martin, Mario, Nelly and Rob Thomas have been added to present.

Melissa Etheridge has won two Grammy Awards and is nominated for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance. Joss Stone is nominated for Best New Artist, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album. Jamie Foxx is an Academy Award nominee and is nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (with Twista and Kanye West). Alicia Keys has won five Grammy Awards and is currently nominated for eight awards: Album of the Year, Best R&B Album, Song Of The Year, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, two nominations in the Best R&B Song category and two nominations in the Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals category (one with Tony! Toni! Ton�! and one with Usher).

James Brown, known as the "Godfather of Soul," will appear with Usher who has eight nominations: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, Best Contemporary R&B Album, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, and two nominations for Best R&B Song ("Burn" and "My Boo" with Alicia Keys).

Al Green will perform as part of the special musical segment to raise funds for tsunami relief efforts and is nominated for Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance. John Mayer is nominated for Song of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

Previously announced performers are Green Day, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw, U2, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, The Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani with Eve, Los Lonely Boys, Maroon 5, Franz Ferdinand, Kanye West with John Legend, Mavis Staples and the Blind Boys of Alabama, Bonnie Raitt and Billy Preston, and Tim McGraw, Gretchen Wilson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dickey Betts, Elvin Bishop and Keith Urban.

Newly announced presenters include three-time Grammy Award winner rap artist Nelly, nine-time Grammy Award winner Sheryl Crow and champion cyclist Lance Armstrong, three-time Grammy Award winner Rob Thomas (matchbox twenty), lead singer of Grammy Award winner and current nominee Evanescence Amy Lee, actor/recording artist (the Bacon Brothers) Kevin Bacon, current two-time Grammy Award nominee Anthony Hamilton, Grammy Award winner Ricky Martin, current Grammy Award nominee Mario, and multiple Grammy Award winner T-Bone Burnett. Nelly is nominated for Best Rap Album; Crow is nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance; Hamilton is nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (with Jadakiss); Lee/Evanescence is nominated for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal; Mario is nominated for Best Contemporary R&B Album; and Burnett is nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture and Producer of the Year Non-Classical.

As previously announced, a special fund-raising musical performance, "Across The Universe," features Bono, Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys, Velvet Revolver, Tim McGraw and Brian Wilson, who will donate their time and talents during the performance. Viewers will be able to go to CBS.com, which will offer an exclusive video stream of the segment, as well as footage of rehearsals and behind-the-scenes activities, and have the opportunity to make a donation to a charity benefiting tsunami relief. Viewers will also be able to go directly to the iTunes Music Store to gain access to a download of the live performance of "Across The Universe" for $.99. All proceeds from downloads of the track will go to tsunami relief efforts benefiting survivors and their families. iTunes can also be accessed via CBS.com.

The Grammy Awards, considered to the music industry's highest accolades, are presented by The Recording Academy.
