While dealing with a personal court case himself -- his petition to assume custody of Mattie Grace, the teenage girl who used to employ his as a crop duster -- Harm is given the job of defending Turner, who has been by accused of racial bias that allegedly cost the Navy valuable intelligence. Meanwhile, P.O. Coates works to make create Christmas miracles for Admiral Chegwidden and Lt. Sims.
