(from Viceland's press release, May 2017) In the second season of STATES OF UNDRESS, premiering June 6 @ 10PM, writer, model and actress Hailey Gates continues her exploration of global fashion far beyond the runway, showing us what the world wears, and more importantly... why. Gates crisscrosses the globe visiting far-flung locales including: France during its heated, and globally impactful Presidential election where anti-immigrant sentiment has manifest itself with a national ban on traditional religious garb like the Muslim burka. In addition, Gates travels to Thailand where gender fluidity and fashion are intertwined; Liberia, where fashion is helping the country recover from its Ebola crisis... and Independence, Ohio for its second annual Concealed Carry Fashion Show. |
