Airing Oct. 2, The GIFTED posted a 2.3/8 Live+3 Day rating among Adults 18-49, television's top-rated Fall Monday 9:00pm debut in three years and also FOX's highest-rating for a Fall Monday launch in three years. Once Detective Pierce's (Tom Welling) past is revealed though, everyone realizes that the Sinnerman is much more dangerous than they thought.

In the next all-new episode of THE GIFTED, "rX," airing at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT, Blink (Jamie Chung) goes into a state of shock after exerting her powers beyond their limits, and Caitlin (Amy Acker) and Eclipse (Sean Teale) must find a special serum that will help her recover. Meanwhile, Reed (Stephen Moyer) faces some difficult choices when it comes to helping his family, and Polaris (Emma Dumont) runs into trouble.
