Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "The Voice" Goes Out on Top for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/23/17):

NBC (7.081 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) was the demo champ on Tuesday thanks to a new "Great News" (3.133 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8), the season finale of "Great News" (3.074 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #7) and of course the finale to "The Voice" (9.071 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1).

ABC (8.318 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) then was the silver draw with week two of "Downward Dog" (5.717 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #5) and the expanded season finale of "Dancing with the Stars" (8.839 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2).

Next up was CBS (7.112 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with a repeat "NCIS" (8.310 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #6) followed by the season finale of "Bull" (8.353 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) and another edition of "48 Hours: NCIS" (4.675 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11).

Meanwhile, The CW (2.009 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4) served up the season finale of "The Flash" (2.973 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) plus a new "iZombie" (1.045 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13).

And finally, a new "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.819 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8), the season finale of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.554 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11) and the penultimate "Prison Break" (1.918 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8) rounded out the night for FOX (1.802 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (9.416 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) staked its claim to the top spot on Tuesday with a "The Voice Recap" (7.457 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) followed by the two-hour season finale of "The Voice" (10.397 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1).

ABC (8.376 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then was the number two draw with the season finales of "Fresh Off the Boat" (4.874 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4), "The Real O'Neals" (4.200 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #7) and "Dancing with the Stars" (10.296 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2).

Next up was CBS (5.530 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and its combination of a primetime "The Price Is Right" (6.393 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6), a new "Person of Interest" (5.290 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and a second "Person of Interest" (4.906 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8).

Meanwhile, The CW (2.389 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) offered up the season finale of "The Flash" (3.300 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and an original "Containment" (1.477 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T11).

And finally, FOX (1.911 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #5) closed out the night with the return of "Hotel Hell" (2.514 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #10) and a new "Coupled" (1.309 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T11).
