Friday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS, NFL Preseason Snap NBC's Win Streak

Here are the highlights of the 10 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/26/16):

CBS (5.057 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) pulled into the top spot on Friday with its coverage of "NFL Preseason: Cleveland at Tampa Bay" (5.057 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1).

ABC (4.420 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) then claimed the silver with its trio of "Shark Tank" (4.244 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (4.163 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and "20/20" (4.854 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3).

Next up was NBC (4.279 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) with repeats of "America's Got Talent" (3.899 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T5) and "Dateline NBC" (5.039 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.218 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up an encore of "MasterChef" (2.218 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #7).

And finally, repeats of "Masters of Illusion" (1.994 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8), another "Masters of Illusion" (2.051 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) and "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (2.106 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) on The CW (2.064 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) closed out the night.

Meanwhile, The CW (1.723 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up a new "Masters of Illusion" (1.683 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10) and repeats of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.647 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) and "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (1.780 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said trio posted a 0.4, 0.4 and 0.4 rating, respectively.

And finally, second runs of "MasterChef" (1.774 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #7) and "Gotham" (1.096 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11) on FOX (1.435 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.4/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/4 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
