L+7: WEEK 2 OF "SHADES OF BLUE" GROWS +95% IN 18-49 RATING GOING FROM L+SD TO L+7, THE #1 LIFT OF THE WEEK ON THE BIG 4
IT'S ALSO THE BIGGEST L+7 PERCENTAGE LIFT FOR WEEK 2 OF A NEW SERIES THIS SEASON
The Jan. 14 telecast of "Shades of Blue" has grown by +95% in adult 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus seven day" results from Nielsen Media Research (from a 1.32 to a 2.57) and by +4.671 million persons in total viewers (6.641 million to 11.312 million):
· It's the #1 biggest percentage increase for the week of Jan. 11-17 on the Big 4 networks, narrowly ahead of the +88% for NBC's "The Blacklist" (1.58 to 2.97).
· The +95% increase is the #1 biggest L+7 percentage lift this season for Week 2 of a new series on the big 4 networks.
· The +95% lift in 18-49 is up from a +72% increase in L+7 for the prior week's premiere (1.81 to 3.12).
· The increase of +4.671 million total viewers is the #3 biggest L+7 gain this season for Week 2 of a new series on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox, behind only "Blindspot" (+6.019 million) and "Quantico" (+4.925 million).
· The +70% increase in P2+ delivery from LS to L7 is the #3 biggest L+7 percentage lift this season for Week 2 of a new series on the Big 4 networks, behind "Scream Queens" (+73%) and "Quantico" (+71%).
Previously:
· The Jan. 7 "Shades of Blue" premiere delivered 13.5 million total viewers in L+7, making it NBC's most-watched premiere of a 10 p.m. drama without a "Voice" lead-in in more than nine years, since "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" on Monday, Sept. 18, 2006 (14.1 million).
· Among NBC series premieres, the Jan. 7 "Shades of Blue" debut delivered the #3 biggest L+7 lift ever in total viewers (4.916 million), behind only "Blindspot" (5.984 million) and "The Blacklist" (+5.696 million).
· It was the #2 biggest lift of the week of Jan. 4-10 on the broadcast nets in total viewers (behind only "Big Bang Theory's" 5.106 million).
