NBC Sweeps 6 of 6 Monday Half-Hours Among the Big 4 in 18-49

NBC SWEEPS 6 OF 6 MONDAY HALF-HOURS AMONG THE BIG 4 IN 18-49 WITH #1 SHOW OF THE NIGHT ON THOSE NETS, 'THE VOICE,' AND THE #1 SCRIPTED SHOW, 'BLINDSPOT'

'VOICE' IS RUNNING WITHIN 0.1 OF THE COMPARABLE YEAR-AGO 2.6 RATING AND ITS PRELIM 2.5 IS ON THE VERGE OF ROUNDING UP TO A 2.6

NBC RESEARCH PROJECTS 'BLINDSPOT' WILL GROW +116% AFTER SEVEN DAYS OF TIME-SHIFTING AND ALTERNATE-PLATFORM VIEWING

NBC RANKS #1 FOR A 17TH STRAIGHT MONDAY AMONG THE BIG 4 NETS IN 18-49, LAST NIGHT TOPPING ABC, WHICH CARRIED NFL FOOTBALL IN BOSTON AND BUFFALO

Monday Primetime Results (Note that ABC carried NFL football in the Boston and Buffalo markets):

NBC ranks #1 for Monday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and nearly all other key demographics, with "The Voice" and "Blindspot" leading six of six half-hours among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49.

It's the 17th Monday in a row that NBC has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49.

"The Voice" (2.5/8 in 18-49, 10.2 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):

· Is running within 0.1 of the comparable telecast one year ago (2.5 vs. 2.6 for the third Monday live telecast last fall on Nov. 24, 2014) and is up +6% in total viewers (10.197 million vs. 9.600 million).

· Is close to rounding up to a 2.6 (currently reporting a 2.54).

· Is the #1 program of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and other key demos.

· Wins the time period among the Big 4 and other key demos.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's "Voice" increased by +18% in 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day" Nielsens (from a 3.00 rating to a 3.53) and by 1.8 viewers overall (from 11.2 million to 13.0 million).

· Upscale: Monday's "Voice" is delivering a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 115 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3, 100 represents an average concentration of those homes). Last week's telecast was the night's most upscale show on the Big 4 (123 index, L+SD).

"Blindspot" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

· Is the #1 scripted show of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, as well the #1 first-year series.

· Ranks #1 in the slot among the ABC , CBS and NBC in every key demographic.

· NBC Research projects "Blindspot" will grow by +116%, to a 4.1 from a 1.9, after seven days of time-shifted viewing and alternate-platform viewership

· In its 10 weeks on the schedule, has delivered NBC's 10 highest ratings in the slot, excluding sports, in the past year (since Nov. 17, 2014, 2.2 with the premiere of "State of Affairs").

· "Blindspot" delivers heavy time-shifting and VOD viewership. Last week's "Blindspot":

· Grew by +63% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 ratings (2.13 to 3.47) and by 4.2 million viewers overall (7.7 million to 11.9 million), to generate the #1 increases of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49 rating (+1.34) and total viewers (+4.181 million).

· Retained 96% of the prior week's total-viewer gain (4.181 million vs. 4.361 million), which was the biggest L+3 lift for any broadcast or cable program of last week, including AMC's "Walking Dead" (+4.153 million).

· Upscale: "Blindspot" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 124 among adults 18-49 living in home with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3). Last week's telecast was the night's most upscale scripted show on the Big 4 (108 index, L+SD).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.2/8; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.4/6.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.9/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.7/5 in metered-market households and a 0.6/4 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
