ABC is Monday's #1 Non-Sports Net in AD18-49 - Castle Dominates NBC's State of Affairs at 10pm

ABC Monday Prime (8-11pm - 6.5 million and 1.6/4 in AD18-49): Opposite ESPN's record-setting College Football National Championship game (Ohio State-Oregon), ABC was the #1 non-sports network on Monday in Adults 18-49 (1.6/4), beating NBC original lineup by 14% (Celebrity Apprentice/State of Affairs =1.4/4).

The Bachelor (8-10pm - 6.4 million and 1.7/5 in AD18-49): From 8-10pm, ABC's The Bachelor beat NBC's Celebrity Apprentice head-to-head by 10% in Total Viewers (6.4 million vs. 5.8 million) and tied in Adults 18-49 (1.7/5). In addition, the ABC unscripted series more than doubled Celebrity Apprentice in the 2-hour slot with Adults 18-34 (+113% - 1.7/6 vs. 0.8/3).

· The Bachelor ranked as Monday's #1 TV series in Adults 18-34 and key Women (W18-34/W18-49).

Castle (10-11pm - 6.8 million and 1.4/4 in AD18-49): Returning to original for the first time in 4 weeks (since 12/8/14), ABC's Castle was the #1 series during the 10pm hour, beating NBC's original State of Affairs by best-ever margins of 89% in Total Viewers (6.8 million vs. 3.6 million) and 75% in Adults 18-49 (1.4/4 vs. 0.8/2). Castle held steady with its most recent original in Adults 18-49.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
