UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - May 8, 2012 - "The Voice" has paced NBC's primetime week of April 30-May 6, during which the network averaged a 1.6 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers overall, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Monday's "The Voice" ranked #7 for the week among all primetime shows on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, marking the 14th week in a row that "The Voice" has finished in the top seven among primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox. Tuesday's "The Voice" Results Show tied for #11 for the week in 18-49 and "The Office" tied for #27. In the valuable adult 18-34 demo, Monday's "The Voice" ranked #5, "The Office" tied for #7, Tuesday's "The Voice" tied for #12, "Parks and Recreation" tied for #21 and "30 Rock" and "Community" tied for #27.

Primetime averages for the week of April 30-May 6 in adults 18-49 were Fox and CBS (2.2/7 each), ABC (2.0/6), NBC (1.6/5) and CW (0.6/2). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (10.1 million), ABC (7.7 million), Fox (6.8 million), NBC (5.1 million) and CW (1.2 million).

NBC highlights for the week of April 30-May 6

* On Monday, "The Voice" tied for #1 in its highly competitive time period in adults 18-49 and was #1 outright in adults 18-34. "The Voice" was up 94 percent versus NBC's time-period average prior to "The Voice" and up 70 percent in total viewers.

* Also on Monday, "Smash" was up versus NBC's time-period average for the season prior to "Smash" by 80 percent in 18-49 and 38 percent in total viewers.

* On Tuesday, the "Biggest Loser 13" finale attracted NBC's heftiest total-viewer result in the time period so far this season.

* Also on Tuesday, "The Voice" Results Show tied for the #1 rating of the night in adults 18-49, marking the fifth consecutive week "The Voice" has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among all Tuesday primetime telecasts.

* On Wednesday, an 8:30 p.m. ET "Off Their Rockers" captured NBC's top 18-49 rating in the half-hour in six weeks and the network's biggest overall viewership in 16 weeks.

* Wednesday's "Rock Center with Brian Williams" reported its highest 18-49 rating in eight weeks and its biggest overall audience in 12 weeks.

* "Law & Order: SVU" captured NBC's highest rating in the Wednesday 10 p.m. ET hour in 12 weeks and captured the network's biggest overall audience in the slot in 16 weeks.

* On Thursday, "The Office" grew 10 percent week to week in adults 18-49 to claim its highest rating since March 15.

* Thursday's "Parks and Recreation" grew 6 percent week to week and retained 74 percent of its 18-49 lead-in from "The Office," up from "Parks'" 69 percent average in the same time period last season.

* On Friday, "Grimm" tied for #1 in its time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the key demographic of adults 18-49.

* On Sunday, "The Celebrity Apprentice" won its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET in adults 18-49 for a fifth consecutive week.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

On Monday, April 30 from 8-10 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (3.5 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49, 9.5 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in its time period versus ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and other key demographics, matching the average of CBS's 8-10 p.m. comedy block in 18-49 (with a 3.5 rating each), while besting ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" in 18-49 (3.5 vs. 2.8). From its first half-hour to its fourth, "The Voice" grew by 18 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.8 from a 3.2). "The Voice" led the time period among those networks in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49. In its 13 weeks on the Monday schedule,"The Voice" has now generated NBC's 13 highest non-Olympic 18-49 ratings in this slot in three years (since February 9, 2009). Versus NBC's averages in the time period this season prior to "The Voice," this week's telecast is up 94 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 3.5 vs. a 1.8, "live plus same day") and up 70 percent in total viewers (9.515 million vs. 5.587 million).

Monday at 10 p.m. ET, "Smash" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) finished within 1 share of first-place in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, tied for #1 in adults 18-34 and is #1 outright among those networks in women 18-34. Note that "Smash" has been adding 43 percent to these next-day "live plus same day" ratings when Nielsen issues "live plus seven day" results so far this season. "Smash" has now delivered NBC's 13 highest in-season 18-49 ratings in this time period since January 31, 2011. This week's "Smash" beat NBC's time-period average this season prior to "Smash" by 80 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 1.8 vs. a 1.0) and by 38 percent in total viewers (5.339 million vs. 3.864 million).

NBC finished #2 Monday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, within 0.2 of a rating point of first place, and was #1 among those networks in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49.

On Tuesday, May 1, from 8-9 p.m. ET, the finale of "The Biggest Loser 13" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall) delivered NBC's biggest overall audience in this time period so far this season and matched NBC's second-higehst 18-49 rating in the hour since January 10. Week to week, "Loser" is even in 18-49 rating and up in total viewers by 5 percent (to 7.2 million from 6.9 million). In the time period, this week's "Biggest Loser" is #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in total viewers and adults, men and women 25-54. From its first half-hour to its second, the "Loser" finale grew in all key ratings categories, including gains of 26 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.4 rating from a 1.9) and 21 percent or 1.4 million persons in total viewers (to 7.9 million from 6.5 million

Tuesday from 9-10 p.m. ET, "The Voice" Results Show (3.1/8 in 18-49, 8.9 million viewers overall) tied for the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 on a night that included original telecasts of CBS's "NCIS" and "NCIS: LA" (featuring a "Hawaii Five-0" crossover), "ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" and Fox's "Glee" and "The New Girl." This marks the fifth Tuesday in a row that "The Voice" has been #1 or tied for #1 for the night in 18-49. This week's "The Voice" won its hour in 18-49 by a 3 percent margin (with a 3.1 rating vs. a 3.0 for CBS's second-place "NCIS") and prevailed over ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" Results Show by a 29 percent margin (3.1 vs. 2.4). In the time period, "The Voice" is also #1 among adults, men and women 18-34 and women 18-49.

Tuesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Fashion Star" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) matched its 18-49 rating of the prior two weeks. In the time period, "Fashion Star" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in men 18-49 and was #2 outright among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34.

On Wednesday, May 2 from 8-8:30 p.m. ET, "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" averaged a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall in an intensely competitive time period opposite Fox's "American Idol," CBS's "Survivor" and ABC's "The Middle." In its five weeks in this time period, "Off Their Rockers" has delivered NBC's five biggest overall audiences in the Wednesday 8-8:30 half-hour since January 11.

Wednesday at 8:30 ET, a second telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) captured NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period in six weeks (since March 21) and delivered the network's biggest overall audience in the slot in 16 weeks (since January 11). In a highly competitive time period opposite Fox's "American Idol," CBS's "Survivor" and ABC's "Suburgatory," "Off Their Rockers" built on its results in the prior half-hour by 8 percent in adults 18-49 and 14 percent in women 18-49 (to a 1.6 rating from a 1.4).

Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, "Rock Center with Brian Williams" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall) delivered its highest 18-49 rating in eight weeks (since March 7, 1.0 at 10 p.m.) and its biggest overall audience in 12 weeks (since February 8, 5.1 million viewers at 9 p.m.). "Rock Center" is up week to week for a third consecutive week in 18-49 rating. From its first half-hour to its second, this week's "Rock Center" grew in all key ratings categories, including gains of 22 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.1 from a 0.9), 17 percent in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.2) and 20 percent in total viewers (4.5 million vs. 3.8 million).

Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) locked up NBC's highest 18-49 rating in this time period in 12 weeks (since February 8) and the network's biggest overall viewership in the slot in 16 weeks (since January 11). "SVU" built on its lead-in by 90 percent in 18-49 rating and 60 percent in total viewers. "SVU" has generated week-to-week gains the last two weeks in a row in 18-49 rating, growing versus the prior week by 12 percent in 18-49 rating (1.9 vs. 1.7) and versus two weeks ago by 19 percent (1.9 vs. 1.6). In total viewers, "SVU" has been up week to week three weeks in a row, up versus one week ago by 1 percent, up versus two weeks ago by 11 percent and up versus three weeks ago by 19 percent.

On Thursday, May 3 at 8 p.m. ET, "Community" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall) matched prior week's 18-49 rating to equal the show's highest result since March 29 in a highly competitive time period versus CBS's "Big Bang Theory," Fox's "American Idol" and ABC's "Missing."

Thursday at 8:30 ET, "30 Rock" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall) retained 100 percent of its 18-49 lead-in in adults 18-49. In a competitive time period versus Fox's "American Idol," CBS's "Rules of Engagement" and ABC's "Missing," "30 Rock" is #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in men 18-34.

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "The Office" (2.3/7 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 10 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.3 from a 2.1) to file the show's highest rating since March 15. In total viewers, "The Office" was up week to week by 6 percent (4.441 million vs. 4.171 million) to also claim its biggest overall audience since March 15. In a competitive time period versus ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," CBS's "Person of Interest" and Fox's "Touch," "The Office" tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-34 and is #1 outright in men 18-34 and men 18-49. "The Office" built on its lead-in by 64 percent in 18-49 rating and 46 percent in total viewers.

Thursday at 9:31 ET, "Parks and Recreation" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall) is up week to week by 6 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.6) and 3 percent in total viewers (3.3 million vs. 3.2 million). "Parks" retained 74 percent of its 18-49 lead-in from "The Office," up from its 69 percent average in this time period last season. Against the concluding half-hours of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," CBS's "Person of Interest" and Fox's "Touch," "Parks" ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-34 and #1 in men 18-34.

Thursday at 10 p.m. ET, "Awake" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall. Note that "Awake" is one of the most time-shifted shows on television, with the "live plus same day" rating growing by 60 percent when Nielsen issues "live plus seven day" ratings.

Friday, May 4 at 8 p.m. ET, "Who Do You Think You Are?" averaged a 0.9/4 in 18-49 and 5.0 million viewers overall.

Friday at 9 p.m. ET, "Grimm" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall) maintained its 18-49 rating of the prior two weeks to tie for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the time slot. "Grimm" built on its lead-in by 56 percent in 18-49 rating. Note that "Grimm" originals have been adding 65 percent to these next-day "live plus same day" ratings when Nielsen issues "live plus seven day" results.

Friday at 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 18 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.1), 21 percent in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.4) and 21 in total viewers (5.0 million vs. 4.1 million). "Dateline" grew from its first half-hour to its second in most key ratings categories, including gains of 8 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.2), 19 percent in adults 25-54 (1.9 vs. 1.6) and 18 percent in total viewers (5.4 million vs. 4.5 million).

On Saturday, May 5 at 8 p.m. ET, the finale of "Escape Routes" averaged a 0.3/1 in 18-49 and 1.2 million viewers overall. "Escape Routes" matched its 18-49 rating of the prior three weeks and was up 11 percent in total viewers (1.2 million vs. 1.1 million). It was the top "Escape Routes" total-viewer result for the season.

Saturday from 9-11 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "The Voice" averaged a 0.5/2 in 18-49 and 2.0 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its fourth, the "Voice" encore grew by 75 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.7 rating from a 0.4) and 43 percent in total viewers (2.3 million vs. 1.6 million).

On Sunday, May 6 from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 0.7/2 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall.

Sunday from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Harry's Law" (0.8/2 in 18-49, 7.7 million viewers overall) matched its 18-49 rating of the prior two weeks and was up week to week by 5 percent in total viewers (7.7 million vs. 7.3 million). "Harry's Law" was also up versus this week's total-viewer lead-in by 142 percent. From its first half-hour to its second, "Harry's Law" grew by 14 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.7) and by 13 percent in total viewers (8.1 million vs. 7.2 million). Versus NBC's non-sports average in the time period last season, "Harry's Law" is up 61 percent in total viewers (7.7 million vs. 4.8 million).

Sunday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "The Celebrity Apprentice" averaged a 1.9/5 in 18-49 and 6.2 million viewers overall, growing from its first half-hour to its fourth by 47 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.2 from a 1.5) and by 22 percent or 1.2 million persons in total viewers (to 6.8 million from 5.6 million). "Apprentice" built on NBC's results in the prior hour from 8-9 p.m. by 138 percent in 18-49 rating.

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "The Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 for a fifth week in a row, leading the 10 p.m. hour this week by a 22 percent margin (2.2 vs. 1.8 for ABC's second-place "GCB").
