CBS Has the Week's Top 11 Scripted Programs

CBS won its fifth consecutive week in viewers and third straight week in adults 25-54 paced by time-period-winning performances by all three editions of BIG BROTHER and the top 11 scripted series, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Aug.7, week 46 of the 2010-2011 television year.

All three BIG BROTHER broadcasts (Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday) swept their time slots and placed among the top10 in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and adults 25-54.

NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, FLASHPOINT, THE BIG BANG THEORY, CRIMINAL MINDS, BLUE BLOODS, CSI: NY, THE MENTALIST, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT and TWO AND A HALF MEN were the week's top 11 scripted programs.

For the week in viewers, CBS (5.92m) beat ABC (5.03m), NBC (4.56m) and FOX (4.01m). Summer-to-date, CBS (6.28m) leads NBC (5.89m), ABC (5.71m) and FOX (4.47m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for first in adults 25-54 (1.8/05, with ABC) and averaged a 1.3/04 in adults 18-49.

For the week in households, CBS (3.8/07) was ahead of ABC (3.1/05), NBC (2.8/05) and FOX (2.4/04). Summer-to-date, CBS (4.1/07) is ahead of NBC (3.6/06), ABC (3.5/06) and FOX (2.7/05).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was first in households (4.2/07), viewers (6.90m), adults 25-54 (3.1/09), adults 18-49 (2.5/08) and tied for first in adults 18-34 (1.8/07, with FOX). Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER WEDNESDAY was up +5% in households (from 4.0/07), +7% in adults 25-54 (from 2.9/09), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08) and added +50,000 viewers (from 6.84m, +1%).

BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was first in households (4.5/08), viewers (7.43m), adults 25-54 (3.3/09), adults 18-49 (2.8/08) and adults 18-34 (2.2/08) for the fifth consecutive week. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was up +5% in both households (from 4.3/07) and adults 18-49 (from 2.1/07), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.2/09), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.6/08) and added +310,000 (from 7.12m, +4%).

BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was first in households (4.5/08), viewers (7.84m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09), adults 18-49 (2.9/09) and adults 18-34 (2.2/08) for the fifth consecutive week. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/09).

? SAME NAME was first in households (2.9/05), viewers (5.00m), adults 25-54 (2.0/05) and adults 18-49 (1.6/04). Compared to last week, SAME NAME was up +7% in households (from 2.7/04), +18% in adults 25-54 (from 1.7/04), +23% in adults 18-49 (from 1.3/03) and added +770,000 viewers (from 4.23m, +18%).

FLASHPOINT was first in households (4.2/08), viewers (6.33m), adults 25-54 (1.6/06) and adults 18-49 (1.1/04). FLASHPOINT won its time slot in viewers for the 13th straight week.
