NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 28 � APRIL 3, 2011

FOX aired mostly encores last week but still finished a close second thanks to week-over-week gains by AMERICAN IDOL and the outstanding premiere of new special MOBBED. Season to date, FOX continues to outperform the No. 2 network by a half of a ratings point among Adults 18-49 (3.5 vs. 3.0) and is performing in line with last season (3.5/10 vs. 3.7/10) while most other major networks are suffering significant year-over-year declines.

Key highlights from last week include:

· On Wednesday, FOX won the night across all key demos and outperformed the combined 4-net competition by +17% among Adults 18-49 (7.7 vs. 6.6) and +6% in Total Viewers (24.2 vs. 22.8 Mil.) In addition, FOX outperformed its nearest competitor for the night (CBS) by +166% among Adults 18-49 and +116% in Total Viewers.

· AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in all key demos and outperformed the next highest rated program of the night (Criminal Minds) by +120% in A18-49 and +86% in Total Viewers

· IDOL retained 100% of the comparable telecast last year (Top 10 on 3/30/10) among 18-49 (7.7/21 vs. 7.7/21) and gained +11% in Total Viewers (24.2 vs. 21.9 Mil.)

· AMERICAN IDOL grew +24% in its last half hour vs. its first among Adults 18-49 (8.3 vs. 6.7) and +22% in Total Viewers (25.9 vs. 21.2 Mil.)

· The AMERICAN IDOL Top 11 Results show and new Howie Mandel special MOBBED led FOX to another nightly win across all demos and together outperformed the next highest rated network for the night by +66% in the adult demo (5.3 vs. ABC's 3.2) and +35% in Total Viewers (16.7 vs. CBS' 12.4 Mil.)

· AMERICAN IDOL increased versus the previous Thursday's results show by +6% in Adults 18-49 (6.8 vs. 6.4) and Total Viewers (22.6 vs. 21.3 Mil).

· In fact, IDOL was up +1% in the adult demo rating and up +10% in Total Viewers versus the comparable telecast last year (on 3/31/10).

· In the 8p hour AMERICAN IDOL outperformed the combined 4-net competition by +6% among Adults 18-49 (6.8 vs. 6.4), and +15% in Total Viewers (22.6 vs. 19.7 Mil.).

· At 9pm new FOX special MOBBED was the highest-rated unscripted telecast to follow an AMERICAN IDOL episode in over two years in Total Viewers (since 1/29/09)

· MOBBED retained 100% of its Adults 18-49 rating in its second half hour vs. its first (3.8 - 3.8) and grew +4% in Adults 18-34 (2.9 vs. 2.8.)

So far this season with Comparable Most Current ratings AMERICAN IDOL retained 92% of last year's same telecasts in A18-49 (8.6/23 vs. 9.3/24, through Top 10 Results, 3/31/10) and 100% in Total Viewers (25.0 vs. 25.1 Mil.)

FOX special MOBBED is the highest-rated unscripted telecast to follow an AMERICAN IDOL episode in over two years in Total Viewers (since 1/29/09, Hell's Kitchen premiere.)

MOBBED showed the highest retention of any unscripted program with an AMERICAN IDOL lead-in in two years among Adults 18-49 (since 3/26/09, Hell's Kitchen) and in almost three years in Total Viewers (since Hell's Kitchen on 5/6/08).

In the 9p hour MOBBED ranked #2 in A18-49 and beat an original CSI in head to head competition by +31% (3.8/10 vs. 2.9/8).

MOBBED retained 100% of its Adults 18-49 rating in its second half hour vs. its first (3.8 - 3.8) and grew +4% in Adults 18-34 (2.9 vs. 2.8.)
