During the week of January 31, 2011, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live saw week-to-week increases in both Total Viewers (17%) and Adults 18-49 (21%), posting the show's strongest performance in over 2 months - since w/o 11/22/10. In addition, JKL attracted the show's 2nd-largest audience of the season and drew its 3rd-highest Adults 18-49 audience since premiere week (w/o 9/20/10).

· Excluding the NBA Finals-led broadcasts in June, JKL's Tuesday telecast (2/1/11) drew the ABC late-night program's largest audience on any night in more than 2 months and highest Adults 18-49 audience in nearly 9 months - since 11/23/10 and 5/25/10, respectively. In fact, JKL's Tuesday airing drew the show's biggest young adult audience on the night since May (since 5/25/10). On that evening, JKL drew 38% more overall viewers than NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and 11% more than CBS' The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

· ABC's JKL beat CBS' Ferguson by 4% in Total Viewers and by 8% in Adults 18-49, besting the CBS late-night program for the 6th consecutive week in the key young adult demo.

In fact, "JKL" attracted the show's 2nd-largest audience of the season and drew its 3rd-highest Adult 18-49 audience since premiere week (w/o 9/20/10).

"NIGHTLINE" GROWS IN TOTAL VIEWERS, ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 25-54 YEAR TO YEAR

"NIGHTLINE" IS NO. 1 SEASON TO DATE AMONG ADULTS 25-54 AND TOTAL VIEWERS FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 1993

During the week of January 31, 2011, including the first two nights of the February 2011 Sweep, ABC News' "Nightline" was the No. 1 program in late-night in Total Viewers (4.43 million), Adults 25-54 (1.94 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.48 million), according to Nielsen Media Research. In fact, the program scored its second-strongest performance of the season on all three Nielsen measures.

For the 4th time in the last 5 weeks, "Nightline" improved year to year in Total Viewers (+10%), Adults 25-54 (+9%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%).

Season to date, "Nightline" ranks in first place among Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. This is the first time "Nightline" that has been in first place at this point in the season since at least the 1993-94 season, when "Letterman" began on CBS. In addition, "Nightline" is up by +3% in Adults 25-54 season to date compared to the same point last year.

"Nightline" topped NBC's "The Tonight Show" by its largest margins in 4 weeks (since w/o 1/3/11) in Total Viewers (160,000), Adults 25-54 (150,000) and Adults 18-49 (70,000).

Tuesday's airing (2/1/11) of "Nightline" drew the ABC program's second-strongest telecast of the season in Adults 25-54 (2.22 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.75 million).

During the week of January 31, 2011, including the first two nights of the February 2011 Sweep, ABC Late-Night saw increases over the previous week of 22% in Total Viewers (2.70 million vs. 2.21 million), 26% in Adults 18-49 (1.01 million vs. 803,000) and 27% in Adults 25-54 (1.28 million vs. 1.01 million). Hitting a season best, ABC posted its best Adult 18-49 and Adult 25-54 numbers in late night in more than 7 months - since w/o 6/14/10 and 5/24/10, respectively. In addition, ABC attracted its 2nd-largest overall audience in late night this season.

Additionally, ABC Late-Night was up over the same week last year (w/o 2/1/10) by 8% in Total Viewers (2.70 million vs. 2.50 million), 2% in Adults 18-49 (1.01 million vs. 986,000) and 8% in Adults 25-54 (1.28 million vs. 1.18 million), marking year-to-year increases for the 4th time in the last 5 weeks.

· For the 3rd time in the last 5 weeks, ABC ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-49 in late night versus CBS and NBC. In addition, ABC ran in a virtual tie for No. 1 with CBS in Total Viewers (2.70 million vs. 2.77 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.28 million vs. 1.32 million).
