MTV2 Scores Its Highest Rated 3rd Quarter In Channel History Among P12-34

Season 2 Of The Andy Milonakis Show Picked Up For MTV2s 2006 Sic Em Friday Lineup

New York, NY September 27, 2005 After continuing to reach new ratings milestones in the first and second quarters of 2005, MTV2 secured its highest rated third quarter in channel history among P12-34s. The network, now in over 58 million homes, saw ratings increase by 22% amongst P12-34. Third quarter viewership amongst P12-34 is up 28% from last year.

The strength of MTV2s ratings demonstrates how much our viewers continue to respond to our music driven programming and irreverent lineup of shows, said David Cohn, GM, MTV2. We are extremely excited to continue to solidify MTV2s library by bringing The Andy Milonakis Show over to MTV2 in 2006 to join the Sic Em Friday lineup. The shows hilarious, absurd sensibility and hardcore, devoted fan base is the perfect match for our audience, the subversive nature of MTV2 and is a great fit alongside the critically-acclaimed genius of Wonder Showzen.

The Andy Milonakis Show is produced by Jackhole Industries (Jimmy Kimmel Live, Too Late with Adam Carolla). Jackhole is the production entity comprised of Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla and Daniel Kellison. Kimmel said about the pick-up, "I am so happy for both Andy and America. Hopefully this means he will be able to move out of my birdhouse."

MTV2s continued ratings success reinforces the appeal of the channel to its media savvy, young adult audience, stated Brian Graden, President of Entertainment, MTV Networks Music Group and Logo. In a market with almost endless competition and distraction, MTV2 continues to make an undeniable impact on its viewers, giving them an outlet to discover new music and innovative, original programming that caters and adapts to their constantly changing tastes.

In addition, MTV2 continues to see impressive growth amongst Male 12-24 as ratings have increased 24% in this demographic year to date. Third quarter viewership amongst M12-24 is also up 39%. MTV2 also continues to possess the highest concentration of young males (M12-24: 30%) in all of television (50+ million subs; 24 hour Cable Networks) as well as for M12-34 (39%).

With the evolution of MTV2 in 2005, the channel continues to deliver the hottest mix of music videos, music long form programs, and cross platform programming. The ongoing strength of MTV2s signature music blocks is further exemplified by the hip-hop powerhouse, Sucker Free Sundays, which has grown 19% among Male Teens vs. last year. MTV2 continues to impact the success of new artists by breaking and supporting new artists such as Fall Out Boy, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, Daddy Yankee, The Bravery, Bloc Party, and Avenged Sevenfold. In addition, the full second season of the Sic Em Friday programming block which consisted of Stankervision, Damage Control, and The Andy Milonakis Show was seen by over 25 million viewers.

Milonakis will also be starring in the upcoming Lions Gate film, Waiting which hits theatres on October 7th. Milonakis is represented by CAA and Rath-Welker Management. Jackhole Industries is repped by Dixon Talent Inc.
