The film was directed by Richard Linklater, produced by Scott Rudin and written by Mike White. Randall Poster served as the music supervisor, and Craig Wedren composed the musical score which garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media.
