Sanders as Cedric, "a straight-shooting citizen of the DMZ whose only care in the world is protecting his grandson"; Venus Ariel as Nico, "a foul-mouthed scavenger with a hankering for mischief"; Jade Wu as Susie, "whose revolutionary past has shown her that the best of humanity can be discovered at its worst moments"; Rey Gallegos as Cesar, "a ruthless and devoted consigliere who'll stop at nothing to secure his gang's authority in the DMZ"; Agam Darshi as Franklin, "one of the only smugglers who can get someone in or out of the DMZ"; and Juani Feliz as Carmen, "the fearless and fiery partner to the biggest bad in the DMZ, and a critical source of power and community in her native Spanish Harlem." The project "follows chronic overachiever Prudence Barnett, who is always quick to cast judgment on the lazy, rude, and arrogant residents of her coastal town. Her dreams of karmic justice are fulfilled when, after a night out with her friends, she wakes up with the sudden ability to cast instant karma on those around her." Bloom will write and executive produce with Meyer as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)

The project, which was previously set up at NBC and Sony Pictures Television in 2016, "follows a small-town police detective, who, as an asteroid races toward an apocalyptic collision with Earth, believes she's been chosen to save humanity, while her cynical partner can't decide what he'll enjoy more: her delusional failure, or the end of the world itself." Killen will write, direct and executive produce alongside Winters and Scott Pennington. (Deadline.com)

REDRUM (NBC, New!) - Wrtier/director Nzingha Stewart has set up a potential drama at the network about "two best friends - Jess and Sadie - who host a podcast about New Orleans' most infamous serial killers. But when they make fun of the wrong sociopath and people close to them start to turn up dead, our friends, who are grossly ill-equipped for this unfortunate circumstance, realize they have to do what the police haven't: find the killer before they become the victims of their own story. Let the good times roll." Carla Banks-Waddles, Casey Kyber and Jenna Bans are also on board to executive produce via the latter's Universal Television-based Minnesota Logging Company. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED COBURN & WOOTTON PROJECT (NBC) - Jordan Johnson-Hinds has landed a role on the drama pilot as Anthony Flowers: "Smart and ambitious, Anthony Flowers is Val Turner's (Ryan Michelle Bathé) partner and confidante.
