DEXTER LIMITED SERIES (Showtime) - Jamie Chung and Oscar Wahlberg will recur on the revival season. She'll play Molly, "a famous true-crime podcaster from Los Angeles"; while he's set as Zach, "the captain of the Iron Lake High School wrestling team. He's a bit of a bully, but generally the go-to-guy to have a good time. He's the gateway to the in-crowd, which includes the daughter of the chief of police." (THR.com)
GOLDBERGS, THE (ABC) - Beth Triffon has booked a return trip for the current season as Joanne, "Schwartz's (Sam Lerner) sister and the perennial family favorite. She's brash, flighty, and brimming with unearned confidence. She first came home to celebrate Hanukkah with her family." (Deadline.com)
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE MUSICAL: THE SERIES (Disney+) - Andrew Barth Feldman and Asher Angel have both scored recurring roles on the upcoming season. No details about their characters were given. (Variety.com)
PLAYERS TABLE, THE (HBO Max, New!) - Sydney Sweeney and singer-songwriter Halsey are attached to star in a small screen take on Jessica Goodman's bestselling debut novel "They Wish They Were Us," set "in the affluent town of Gold Coast, Long Island - a community sustained by lies, complicity, and absolute moral decay - two young women (Sweeney and Halsey) come of age as they unravel the mystery of a classmates' murder. But in order to understand what happened to their friend, they must first confront what's happened to them." Writer/director Annabelle Attanasio is spearheading the project for the streamer and Endeavor Content with Goodman; Dre Ryan; Fifty-Fifty Films' Sweeney; Crazyrose's Jean-Marc Vallée and Nathan Ross also executive producing; and Halsey as a co-executive producer. SHAMELESS (Showtime) - Joshua Malina will return for the show's final season as Arthur Trilling, "a longtime Chicago cop who stays safe on the job by refusing to leave his squad car. Then he is assigned Carl Gallagher as his junior partner and that changed everything." (Deadline.com)
UMBRELLA ACADEMY, THE (Netflix) - Co-stars Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin H. Min have reportedly received pay raises for the show's third season with each of them now earning more than $200,000 per episode. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED GAMESTOP DOCUMENTARY SERIES (Netflix, New!) - Emmy and Oscar-winning filmmakers Dan Cogan and Liz Garbus are set to team for a documentary series at the streamer which "tells the viral story of rebel retail traders taking on Wall Street - a David vs. Goliath tale for the ages." Story Syndicate is behind the project with Jon Bardin also executive producing alongside said duo. (Deadline.com)
VERSUS ON WATCH (Facebook Watch) - Simone Biles will topline the show's third season "Simone vs. Herself," "which will chronicle the superstar gymnast's journey as she prepares for the Tokyo Olympics." Directed by Gotham Chopra, the docuseries will debut this summer. Chopra and Ameeth Sankaran of Religion of Sports and Simone Biles and Janey Miller of Octagon are the executive producers.
