ANIMANIACS (Hulu) - Executive producer Wellesley Wild has signed a multi-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Animation, home to the upcoming revival series. (Deadline.com)
DARK CORNERS OF THE NIGHT, THE (Amazon, New!) - Amazon Studios is developing a drama based on the upcoming third novel in Edgar-winning author Meg Gardiner's UNSUB series, which "features a young FBI agent pursuing other UNSUBs." Lawrence Trilling is spearheading the project with The Story Factory's Shane Salerno also executive producing. The first two books in the UNSUB series were previously set up at CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
DOOM PATROL (HBO Max) - Abigail Shapiro is set to recur on the show's sophomore run as Dorothy Spinner, "the 11-year-old daughter of Niles Caulder." (TVLine.com)
HIT & RUN (Netflix) - Kaelen Ohm, Moran Rosenblatt, Gregg Henry and Gal Toren have been cast alongside Lior Raz and Sanaa Lathan in the series. Joining Raz's Segev Azulai and Lathan's Naomi Hicks are Ohm as Danielle Wexler, "a gifted American dancer living a happy life in Tel Aviv with her new husband (Raz) when her life suddenly is cut short"; with Rosenblatt as Tali Shapira, "a hard-nosed police detective who uses her position to help her cousin, Segev, solve the mystery of his wife's death"; Henry as Martin Wexler, "Danielle's father, who is unhappy with her daughter's choice in husbands for dangerous reasons of his own"; and Toren as Ron Harel, "a former Israeli Special Forces op who lives in New York and buries his PTSD in bad choices." Raz, Avi Issacharoff, Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin executive produce alongside Artists First's Kimberlin Belloni, Peter Principato and Itay Reiss; Mandeville Films' David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks; and director Mike Barker. INVENTING ANNA (Netflix) - Jennifer Esposito has been tapped for a role on the Shonda Rhimes-produced drama as Talia Mallay, "the famous owner of a lavish lifestyle brand who excels at the social game." (Deadline.com)

MOVING THE NEEDLE WITH DR. WOO (Quibi, New!) - Celebrated tattoo artist Dr. Woo is set to be the focus of a new entry at the streaming service. The project will take viewers inside "his secret studio "Hideaway at Suite X" and offer fans an inside look at his personal life and creative process." J.D. Roth, Scooter Braun, Dr. Woo, Luke Mitzman and Adam Greener serve as executive producers on the series. (Variety.com)
NCIS: NEW ORLEANS (CBS) - Charles Michael Davis is joining the cast of the series as the "charming, confidant, even justifiably cocky Quentin Carter, who transfers to the New Orleans office at Pride's request." STAR TREK: PICARD (CBSAA) - Amirah Vann has been cast in the current season as "a member of the Qowat Milat, a fierce all-female Romulan religious order who live on the colony planet of Vashti." (Deadline.com)
STUMPTOWN (ABC) - Troian Bellisario and Eoin Macken will both drop by the show's February 12 episode in which Dex is hired to investigate a bride's fiancé after suspicions arise regarding the motives behind the hurried nuptials. (TVLine.com)
SUPERMAN & LOIS (The CW) - Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin have been cast as Jonathan and Jordan, the teenage sons of the title characters in the upcoming drama. "Elsass' Jonathan is clean-cut, modest and kind-hearted, with an aw-shucks attitude that somehow doesn't seem dated. Garfin's Jordan is wildly intelligent, but his mercurial temperament and social anxiety limits his interactions with people, and consequently, Jordan prefers to spend most of his free time alone, playing video games." SWAGGER (Apple TV+) - O'Shea Jackson is set to topline the upcoming basketball drama following an injury suffered on set by original lead Winston Duke. Jackson will star as Ike, "a youth basketball coach and former star player." (Variety.com)
VEGAS HIGH (HBO Max) - West Duchovny is the latest addition to the drama pilot as Paige, "the President of the Mormon Church's "Young Women" organization, who firmly believes in wholesome values." (Deadline.com)
WALKER (The CW) - Lindsey Morgan is set to star opposite Jared Padalecki in the "Walker, Texas Ranger" reboot series as Micki, "Walker's new partner who was born and raised in San Antonio. Described as focused and perceptive, her family has been in Texas since before it was Texas. She's been in the Army and on the police force and knows first-hand what it's like to be singled out and discriminated against because of her gender." (Variety.com)
WITCHER, THE (Netflix) - Carmel Laniado is bound for at least three episodes on the show's second season as Violet, "a young girl whose playful and whimsical demeanour is a front for a smarter and more sadistic character." (Deadline.com)
