&MUSIC (Quibi, New!) - Michael D. Ratner's OBB Pictures and Scooter Braun and J.D. Roth's GoodStory Entertainment are set to team for a new documentary series at the company about "the unsung artists - choreographers, video directors, stage designers - behind the world's biggest music stars. Each episode will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the contributions that help transform music performances into headline-grabbing events." Scott Ratner, Eric D. Cohen, Adam Greener, Harrison Macks, J.P. Stiles and Candice Dragonas are also among the executive producers with Elias Tanner, Miranda Sherman and Kfir Goldberg as co-executive producers. 100, THE (The CW) - Chuku Modu, who recurred as Gabriel Santiago this past season, will return as a regular for the upcoming final season. (Deadline.com)
DEA (FOX, New!) - Writer Craig Gore and director David Ayer have set up a potential drama at the network in which "Jack Riley and his DEA Task Force hunt down a "big bad" drug kingpin each season, dismantling dangerous drug organizations in major cities across the U.S. that local law enforcement cannot handle themselves." The project, which has a penalty attached, is set up at eOne and FOX Entertainment with Cedar Park Entertainment's Chris Long and The Nacelle Company's Brian Volk-Weiss, Matt Ochacher and Michael Pelmont also executive producing. The real-life Jack Riley and journalist Paul Solotaroff are also on board as consulting producers. (Deadline.com)
GENERATION (HBO Max) - The Lena Dunham-produced comedy pilot has rounded out its cast with Justice Smith as Chester; Michael Johnston as Ollie; Chloe East as Naomi; Uly Schlesinger as Nathan; Haley Sanchez as Greta; Nava Mau as Ana; Nathanya Alexander as Arianna; Lukita Maxwell as Delilah; Chase Sui Wonders as Riley; and Sam Trammell as Mark. GOD FRIENDED ME (CBS) - "RuPaul's Drag Race" alumnus Peppermint is set for a two-episode arc on the series as a Pastor Olivia, "the leader of an LGBTQ-friendly congregation Ali (series regular Javicia Leslie) joins after leaving her father's (Joe Morton) Harlem Episcopal Church." (EW.com)
IN CONTEMPT (BET) - The cable channel has passed on a second season of the Erica Ash-led drama. "At this time, BET Networks will not be moving forward with a second season of In Contempt. We are grateful to the incredible cast and producers. We would especially like to thank and recognize the acclaimed executive producers Terri Kopp, who created the series, Lance Samuels and Daniel Iron. We look forward to finding ways to continue in partnership," a BET spokesperson said in a statement. "We are also excited to continue our relationship with the star of In Contempt, Erica Ash, as she is set to star along Paula Patton in the film Sacrifice premiering this fall on BET+." (THR.com)
MADE FOR LOVE (HBO Max) - Ray Romano is set to star opposite Cristin Milioti in the upcoming comedy based on the tragicomic novel of the same name by Alissa Nutting. He'll play Hazel's estranged father, Herbert Green, "a widower and retired con man who shuns relationships due to a fear of loss. Herbert is set to live out his final years on a remote desert ranch as a shut-in with his synthetic partner Diane-a high-end, ultra-realistic sex doll. But when Hazel-his only child-unexpectedly arrives on his doorstep fearing for her life, he's forced to reckon with internal regrets and take action in ways he'd never imagined." (Deadline.com)
MARVEL'S GHOST RIDER (Hulu) - The streaming service has shuttered the Gabriel Luna-led series over "a creative impasse which could not be resolved." Filming had yet to begin on the project. (Deadline.com)
ONE OF US IS LYING (Peacock) - Jennifer Morrison has been tapped to direct the drama pilot, which is based on the New York Times best-selling young adult mystery-thriller. (Variety.com)

QUEENS (CBS, New!) - Moira Kirland has sold a new drama to the Eye about "a veteran homicide detective in Queens who takes on the most challenging case of her life - mentoring her new partner, a rookie cop whose Millennial outlook on the world clashes with the veteran's Gen-X mentality - as these women work to solve the borough's toughest crimes while also attempting to right a wrong from their past." SHOWTIME (HBO) - The pay channel's drama pilot, which chronicles the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, has cast Molly Gordon as Linda Zafrani; Rob Morgan as Earvin Johnson, Sr.; Spencer Garrett as Chick Hearn; Kirk Bovill as Donald Sterling; Delante Desouza as Michael Cooper; and Joey Brooks as Lon Rosen. The project also stars Jason Clarke (Jerry West), John C. Reilly (Jerry Buss), Quincy Isaiah (Magic Johnson), Solomon Hughes (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) and DeVaughn Nixon (Norm Nixon). (Deadline.com)
THIRTYSOMETHING (New!) - Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick are looking to revive their former ABC staple which "captured the angst of the baby boomer generation and its struggles with real-life issues such as career, relationships, marriage, having kids and parenting." Said revival "revolves around the children of the characters in the original show, which are now 30-something themselves." TRIP (Quibi, New!) - Joel Kim Booster has sold a new comedy project to the streaming service about "two best friends who set out to have a legendary week-long summer vacation with the help of cheap rosé and a cadre of eclectic friends." UNITED WE FALL (ABC) - Guillermo Diaz has joined the cast of the midseason comedy as Chuy Rodriguez, "the brother and business partner of Jo (Christina Vidal) at their family's contracting business." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED NICK CANNON PROJECT (Syndication, New!) - Nick Cannon is set to topline a new syndicated talk show offering from Debmar-Mercury. Cannon will also executive produce the project via his Ncredible Entertainment banner. "I've always dreamed of a platform where I can speak to America and discuss pop culture, as well as the topics on everyone's minds," said Cannon. "When I had the opportunity to guest host at my good friend Wendy Williams' show this year, I experienced the energy and excitement of a daytime talk show and instantly knew I found my audience."
